Great place for family with dogs
Was a little hesitant only because I didn’t see any reviews at the time but worked out great for our week long stay, and was apparent that unit had been rented out many times before anyway. Complex is directly across the street from the beach, only takes a few minutes to walk to it. This unit is the furthest back in complex and cannot see beach/ocean. It’s mostly families staying here. Unit itself was plenty of room for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Kids enjoyed the bunk bed. All rooms had smart tvs, internet was fast and smooth. A/C nice and cold. There is a bin on the patio with just about every beach toy/float you need. It is one of the few complexes I could find that would allow larger dogs. Honestly not sure you’ll find much closer that does allow big dogs. It also includes a chair umbrella rental on a private beach, which may not seem like a big deal until you look over at the public beach with people setting up 5 rows back. The beach itself is as amazing as any in the Destin area, fine white soft sand and crystal clear emerald green water. We never used the pool, though it looked nice. I don’t recommend renting a golf cart since it’s so close to the beach and they don’t save you any time from local traffic anyway.Biggest cons are that you cannot bring your pets on the lawn in back of condo patio seen in the photo, but instead have to take them across the parking lot to a small strip of grass near the dumpster. The window blinds are cheap paper thin and don’t do much.
