Enjoy the spectacular turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico through a wall of glass doors that open to a spacious balcony! The breathtaking balcony views from this unit allow you to sit back and watch the stunning sunset over the Gulf while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Cozy up in a warm, comfortable setting with flat-screen TVs throughout. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The condo has a washer/dryer, secure WIFI connection along with Cable TV.

The Master Suite features a king-size bed and a large flat-screen TV. The master bath has a bathtub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 2 full-size beds and a flat-screen TV.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the soft white, powdery sand and clear emerald-green waters just steps away from the condo. Our beach was voted the #1 Best Beach in the nation by Southern Living magazine! Seasonal daily chair rentals are offered along the resort's 600 ft. of private beach. Relax by either of the two beachfront pools or enjoy your favorite beverage from the Tiki Bar or lunch at the Blue Dunes Grille.

The Tops'l Beach & Racquet Resort is a private gated community offering special amenities such as a sun deck and gas grills. Fine dining is available at the onsite Ocean Club Restaurant. It's conveniently located near top-rated shopping and dining options in the area like Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Baytowne Wharf, and Grand Boulevard in Sandestin. The resort is conveniently located in the Miramar Beach/Sandestin area, 10 miles east of Destin and 3 miles west of CR-30A. The resort offers fun and relaxation for all ages and also provides a quiet, secluded peace of mind while being only minutes away from activities, shopping, dining, and so much more! The Tides building is beachfront – only a few quick steps from the powdery white, sandy beaches. A nature preserve calmly sits to your East allowing for gorgeous scenery and glimpses of wildlife as well as far less-crowded beaches.

The condo DOES NOT include the use of Tops'l Club (fitness, indoor pool, resort tennis courts)

Nice condo in well-kept resort property. Comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The kitchen is tiny and isn’t really sufficient if you like to cook and eat meals in though.

Nice condo. Location is great. Beautiful view of the beach. Putt Putt Golf, tennis and pickle ball courts. Gibson Beach Rentals was great to work with renting this property. Very responsive and they have a great app for check-in and check-out.

The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed with a spectacular view! All appliances worked great, the stairs and elevators were easy to take you to the pool, bar, beach and restaurant. Having chairs and umbrella for the beach was so convenient. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The beach and soft white sand went on for miles, and our section of the beachfront was spacious and not as crowded as places closer to Destin. We already want to return!

My only note/suggestion (that I think I've had at a couple Tops'l condos) is that there's no way to prevent a small child from waltzing right out the front door (the deadbolt automatically opens when you turn the inside handle, and there are no other locks). Just something to be mindful of!

Great Stay for a Family of 4 from the Midwest

Was very spacious and comfortable for a family of four. Balcony was awesome! The amenities at this location were wonderful - perfect for a family with a high school tennis player. We used the tennis and pickle ball courts and also played mini golf quite a few times. Having a bar close by at the pool was excellent - and the food was perfect for a mid day lunch. Beach setup was a bit different than what we are used to. If you bring your own chairs/umbrella you have to walk down a bit to find space on the water away from all the PAID chairs. Not a huge deal - but worth mentioning.

May 2021 Stay

Gibson was wonderfully easy to work with and love the convenient app with all info needed in one place. Tops'l was fantastic and Tides unit 1001 is a bit dated in areas but overall very clean and has a great view. Do note that the master bed is currently horrendous - you sleep in a hole if you can sleep. The mattress and/or box springs need replacing terribly. Trust me, this is not a firm or soft mattress debate - this bedding is shot and a decent night's sleep should not be overlooked when paying for a unit of this nature. I would give a five star review if this was not the issue that it is (and I can now see a review from Nov last year where this bedding issue was mentioned so something could have been done...argh). If owner would replace with something decent, we would have already booked this unit for next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the view and the location very much. We had some issues with the dryer, but Gibson was responsive in resolving the issue. While the unit had the appearance of being clean, there were large amounts of pet hair on the floor (it obviously had not been vacuumed), tub was dirty, and water rings on dining room table. We were told there was a vacuum cleaner, but there wasn't. Gibson did provide one a few days after check in. Although it indicated the unit had been updated, the furnishings seemed "tired". Be aware that the pool is not heated during January and February. We were told it was heated but found out it was only Thanksgiving and Christmas.

We appreciated the extra large balcony with 2 lounge chairs and the 4 top table. The condo is exactly as shown in the photos and there are even a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards provided. A word of advice for other visitors: Bring your own hangers you have a lot of hanging clothes! There are only 4 hangers provided in each closet; however there is lots of drawer space in both rooms. The only disappointment for us was that we did not have access to the Tops'l Fitness Center. We have stayed at Tops'l many times but this was our first time staying in a unit managed by Gibson. We were not aware that Gibson properties do not include access to the Tops'l Fitness Center. Gibson did offer use of other gyms around Destin, but we stay at Tops'l for the convenience of the amenities so that was not a good option for us. Overall you can't go wrong the Tops'l Tides. It's a beautiful location and has recently had many cosmetic updates.
