We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect, and the house was fantastic for our family get together. The house was so clean. We had great, fast communication with the host . Would recommend to anyone!!
This was our third time staying as a group to celebrate all things Birkie. Very accommodating for a wide variety of needs. The bathroom to bedroom ratio is wonderful. Perfect.
We had 15 people (2 kids) stay here for a weekend, and it is very nice. It is very spacious, lots of rooms and bathrooms, and well stocked. It has a nice beach and storage shed with kayaks, bean toss, etc. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing place.

Property is wonderful, better than the photos. We all had our own space and meals together. Plenty of refrigerators and bathrooms for our needs. The kids did a lot of fishing on the dock. Great vacation.
The house was spacious enough for our 23 people (5 families). For the kids, the beach was sandy and shallow, fishing was great, and the property was clean and well maintained. Overall, a great property!
House had plenty of room for the 14 of us. Lake was awesome and not busy. The only bad thing was the mosquitoes. This was our second year here and hope to be back next year
This is a beautiful rental property! Always very clean and well maintained. The lake is perfect for lounging, fishing and water sports. The property manger is excellent to work with and easy to contact. We are already booked for next year!
We have a large family and were very happy with the bedroom setups and especially all the bathrooms available.
The kitchen counter bar and table are a great setup. The kitchen was also very well stocked with everything you could need or want to prepare meals etc. We are looking for a return visit next year.
8 adults and 3 young grandchildren had a wonderful time on Gilmore Lake. The sand beach and shallow water that goes way past even the dock made for a great water playground. They provided many water toys so we never had to leave the property. The kitchen was well stocked so could easily cook for 11.
We are a family of 15- ranging from ages 11 to 86.
The kitchen was set up for cooking for this large of group and it had everything we needed.
The lake was awesome for the kids And fishing was good! Nearby towns for shopping and Minongs Farmers market on Wednesdays was awesome.

We stayed here again for a board gaming retreat weekend with a dozen people plus two kids and a dog. The property is great for large groups like this, with tons of different spaces for people to spend time, plus varied rooms for couples, singles, and families.
Everything is super well maintained and stocked, with excellent kitchens and storage.
We will be coming back again next year.
This is our 2nd year staying here for our Families Christmas. We had 20 people third year, we had plenty of room. The Kitchen is well stocked for cooking needs, Also we had great plenty of room for all of our vehicles, we recommend this property.
This is our third time coming to the lodge for a winter retreat where we play board games, and as always it was fantastic.The location is wonderful, and the lodge is clean and has a ton of space for everyone. Two kitchens/living areas means that people can be doing anything they want either loud or quiet and find a space for it.The communication and responsiveness is also really excellent - messages get quick and effective responses, we discussed issues and rental info in advance, and we got an issue with our dog worked out cleanly.I keep coming back here for a reason - it's one of the best experiences for cabin rental I've ever had.
This is our second year at the property and we’ve already booked for next year. The cabin is beautiful and clean, with a well stocked kitchen. We travel with several families and lots of teenagers. There is plenty to do for everyone-boating, fishing, bags, paddle boarding, kayaking, frog catching, hanging out by the campfire. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The property manager is excellent to work with. We are looking forward to 2024!!
The property was outstanding for our group. There was more than enough room for all 19 in our group. There was plenty of space for people to chill on their own. The lake was spectacular, large enough to go tubing with a pontoon boat but not very busy at all. We were there the last week of July. Where the house is located, the water is very shallow, made for great swimming with the kids. We had a small issue with the AC system, turns out one of our party started pressing buttons and turned it off. The host responded within minutes and was there in under an hour.
The property is very wooded and private. Having a big family with 10 noisy, boisterous kids this was a big plus. The downside is ,at times ,there were biting flies. Lots of rain so that is hard to predict.
Everyone had a blast on the sandy beach! Lots of civil engineering projects were constructed.The house was well equipped and big enough to have a " kid zone" and adult area. We loved the layout. Good communication with Cindy of the was a concern and they were immediately on it. Will definately come back.
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious property in Minong WI. There was plenty of room for 23 of us, ranging in age from twin one year olds to my 94 year old mom! We loved the 6 bathrooms, although the towels and washcloths were in short supply. Please note that the Loft East bedroom has no real window coverings on the big window. We really couldn’t use that room because of the morning light. Also, the Loft West is open to below. It was a little darker in the morning but could hear all of the comings and goings on the main level. We spent a lot of time at the sandy beach. We rented a pontoon from the Main Store in Minong. They dropped it off and picked it up at the closest boat landing. They were extremely easy to work with. The water is very shallow and clear for a long way out but by the time it was deep enough to swim, or tread water like my mom likes to do, it was very weedy. But perhaps that was because it was August. Be aware that at this time of year the bugs are out in full force, especially the no-see-ums. The great fire pit was one of the highlights. We had a campfire every night along with a guitar and singing, bring your own firewood. The grill is charcoal, bring your own. Even though there are plenty of other places on the lake we felt completely secluded, safe and private. The parking accommodated all. All in all, great week!
