The staff were really friendly. My room was nice and clean with the towels having this refreshing scent. I wasn’t crazy about the shower handle. The breakfast included was so so. I was hoping for a waffle maker. I like that the hotel includes free parking. Overall 4 stars.

A great convenient location that includes parking....but the hotel is VERY tired and not very clean. The rooms are dated and not well-maintained. If you get a good deal that is the only way you should stay there.

4th time staying there for State Fair. Breakfast was not was it use to be. No eggs or waffles. Room was clean except flooring. Sox were soiled. Staff is always helpful. No microwave and TV didn't have many channels that connected. Parking and security are great. Shuttle for State Fair is close.

Though the staff were friendly and professional, the property was not clean. I'm fine with modest accommodations but expect them to be sanitary. The material finishes in the building need to be replaced, especially the flooring. The carpet in my room was so dirty, my slipper socks were filthy and dark brown after one evening. My husband wore his tennis shoes, even in his pajamas. The location is terrific (walkable to UMN campus) and the free parking was a plus.

The double beds are VERY VERY small. Two teens/adults will not be able to sleep comfortably in them. Location is fantastic, parking is wonderful. Breakfast is grab & go style. Worked well for what we needed at a good price.

If you’re not expecting luxury, this place may do the trick. Stuff was kind and helpful. Floor/carpet in the room was damp throughout our stay. Not sure if it is a ventilation issue or if carpets were recently cleaned. Beds were comfortable. Decent location for getting around Minneapolis.
