"The property was an older Villa Style Hotel with an amazing layout and beautifully maintained. Very relaxing and so much better than your typical hotel. The staff was amazing and the pool and restaurant area was beautiful! Will never stay anywhere else when passing through San Jose!"

"This hotel is very beautiful, but something to keep in mind. The food and beverages from the restaurant are very over priced. Just as an example a glass of Prosecco was roughly 22-25$ (USD) which is enough to just go out in town and buy your own bottle. Also, the breakfast for just my wife and I (buffet breakfast) cost us roughly $70 USD. The breakfast selection was basic and not impressive at all. We basically wondered what we paid 70 dollars for when we saw our choices. The property is beautiful and the service was amazing! Please keep in mind it is in the jungle so you will hear jungle noises at night. Which is to be expected and honestly I thought it was pretty neat."

"I travel a lot and this is one of top favorite places I have stayed at! Absolutely perfect in every way! Perfect location, perfect breakfast, perfect service, beautiful and calming atmosphere and breathtaking views! Sylvia is so attentive, helpful, kind, and flexible. We loved this gem of a spot! So glad we picked it! When we return to Costa Rica this will always be our spot!"
