As I checked in after hours, I felt the system was helpful and got in to my room no issues. The accomodation itself was great! However, I had booked an EV Carpark which carried an additional cost, but was necessary as I required a full charge (overnight) to get back to CHCH the next day. Problem was, there was no communication given on the booking information that no charging cable is supplied! I was not offered a cable from the complex until I complained the next day, which was too late as I had already gone and charged the car at a public DC Charger costing me $45. I recommend that Quest communicate this upon booking the EV charging OR they ensure when people check in after hours that there is a charging cable for them to access. This could have caused a major issue for me, but luckily there is a public charger near by at New World, albeit costing me $45 I wasn’t expecting to have to pay.
