"The breakfast was amazing and they cater to all dietary restrictions, even gluten free! The property is gorgeous! The visual image of “warm and welcoming” is the Ellis Inn! The staff is so incredibly kind, they share the history of the inn, talk about their adorable doggos, and have an entire wall of suggestions for food / activities in the area! It was the perfect getaway! I loved sitting in the sunny day room to read and write! I can not wait to visit again! "

"We had a wonderful getaway to beautiful Colchester. The lake was frozen solid and our dogs loved running in the open snow. The views from the house were stunning. Our host was very responsive to our communication and checked to see how we were doing. We would definitely like to return an experience the lake in the warmer months. "

"had a problem getting key code to work but the host answered right away to get us in. Would have liked the place cleaner especially the bathroom and kitchen. I think the kitchen could have used a few more items for cooking since we were there for a family tgiving dinner. cleaning supplies were few and no paper towels to clean with. I think we were the first to stay there as all the utensils for the kitchen were brand new which was nice. Had a nice time, although we did not realize that the TV was not hooked up. Thanks to my son, we were able to navigate the tv to set up our own Netflix to watch movies. WiFi was good with smart speaker so I could link in to play music. Off season did not alow us to use the grounds which would have been nice, but looked like no one had cleared the leaves from late fall on the property and front door deck. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Mansfield Manor! The house is very clean and comfy. The view of the mountain from the back deck is amazing. Check in and check out was easy. The neighborhood is VERY quiet! We will definitely be back! If you’re looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend!"
