Hidden Gem!

The hotel is in a lovely spot. We booked a room with the mountain view but enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake while eating a delicious breakfast. You could describe the room as modern classy, comfortable bed, nice lighting gadgets and a spacious shower. The staff was incredibly friendly during our check in and check out. We even got a small gift for our departure. While we did not use it, there is also a Tesla destination charger. Overall, highly recommend the hotel!

Tolle Lage und Atmosphäre

Die Lage des Hotels ist unmittelbar am Millstättersee. Was für eine Lage! Der Blick auf den See ist einfach nur grandios. Die Strudel- und Kaffeepause auf der Terrasse mit dieser Aussicht war ein Erlebnis. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt, stilvoll eingerichtet, auffallend sauber. Mein Zimmer war modern, aber gemütlich und das Abendessen war hervorragend. Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen.

Die Forelle, ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen

Freundliches Personal, gut organisiert (COVID). Die Lage direkt am See ist traumhaft. Große, wunderschöne Terrasse direkt am Wasser und eine ausreichend große Liegewiese. Der Spa-Bereich ist klein aber fein und auch dort äußerste Sauberkeit. Die Zimmer durchaus schön (große Terrasse inkl). Einzig die schmale Badewanne mit Duschvorhang ist nicht mehr ganz zeitgemäß. Eine große Dusche statt dessen wäre besser. Mahlzeiten bei Halbpension ausgezeichnet und abwechslungsreich.

Typical Austrian

A typical Austrian hotel with very little surprises. We knew exactly how it would be even before arrival. They have the same carpet as almost any other hotel, the same weird separate beds with foam matresses and individual blankets, as well as too thick and hot blankets. Ah, and of course no air conditioning, which was fatal with those winter blankets. Breakfast was good and we were amused that we needed to check each table in the huge breakfast restaurant for our name card - because as in every average Austrian hotel, guests have pre-assigned seating for breakfast and dinner. Besides that, the area is beautiful and the hotel has a nice private beach. Staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. And they let us charge our Tesla for free, which we really appreciated.

An older property set in a beautiful location on a lake, staff are multi-lingual and very professional and friendly. Take the upgrade to the luxury lake view room, it's only a little more but worth it. Will definitely return!

Et hotel for krop og sjæl.

Et super dejligt sted. Hotellet ligger smukt ned til søen med terrasse, græsplæne og egen badebro. Hotellet er smagfuldt indrettet. Maden er fantastisk, dejligt wellness-område, personalet søde og imødekommende. Vi nød til fulde vores ophold med tre overnatninger og vil meget gerne komme igen. Kan stærkt anbefales

Excellent hotel. Right on the lake, the grass area was kept in immaculate condition. Easy access to swimming on the lake and plenty of sun loungers even though it was peak season. Highly recommend breakfast on the terrace over looking the lake.
