"Hotel staff were surprised when I checked in as a single female and after seeing the room I realised why. The lock on the door had been broken and was not fixed, the windows on a first floor room did not close - this meant the room was 40 degrees Celsius and raised security concerns. There was a mysterious door in the room that led to a balcony guests could not access and the bathroom had not been cleaned after someone had used the toilet. "Fritz provided a bed that I needed. No room account, so everything I bought had to be paid on a handheld POS device that sometimes didn't work. Makes in room dining or ordering a drink or getting a toothbrush a bit of an ordeal. I had a few little ants near the desk in my room, becomes a problem if you leave any food out.
