We had and amazing stay at this property! It provides a lot of privacy and was perfect for spending quality time with my groomsmen on my wedding weekend. The host was great about communication and the house and property were in excellent condition. This place is convenient to all that Cincinnati has to offer, but also provides a relaxing environment to enjoy nature. My only regret is that I could not have stayed here longer!
Absolutely loved our stay at this charming home. Enjoyed the access to the river and watching kayakers float by. The house had everything we needed and more. However, the one thing that was unexpected was the lane to the house. It is a gravel road that is pretty bumpy, so definitely make sure to have a car that can handle off road surfaces
We had a wonderful visit to the area. We loved the house and location and have rented in the past and hope to stay again. My only complaint was the fact that the freezer did not work and had a bad odor. The owner offered to bring a small college size to get us by but I declined. I appreciated the offer, but we had already thrown away our frozen items.
It was super hard to find the location as our gps took us to the other side of the river and told us to walk across. Lmao. If your gps takes you to Lincoln search for the intersection the owner gives you in the email. Also the page says washer and dryer available but it's locked in a private room so it's not really available. Overall I would totally stay there again. Once you master the driveway it's a wonderful place.
Lots of bells and whistles. Mostly anything you could need or want. However, the driveway is very concerning and in my opinion not safe. It is treacherous and a steep grade going down to the house. It is so bad that it limited the number of trips we made to town. We originally had intended to bring our RV on this trip and am so glad we didn't, we would have never been able to get it up and down that driveway. Other things to note, there is only one bathroom in this entire house. (One shower, one toilet.) The house, especially the kitchen, smells of mildew. Lastly, an extremely large, (approximately 3 inches in diameter) Fishing Spider crawled out of my duffel bag while packing up to leave. After seeing it, I am not certain I could have stayed another night had we not been leaving that day.
Such a beautiful environment! Secluded and peaceful. Someone else mentioned the driveway. Just be super slow and careful. It isn’t easy to find the turnoff but I messaged beforehand so I figured it out. They added such nice additions like a few local beers in the fridge, coffee and even bubble bath! I did not pay attention to the one bathroom but it ended up working out. Also, if you have an elderly or disabled person the bathroom is up the steep stairs. It is huge for entertaining large crowds very comfortably with lots to do. The bedroom downstairs has some noise throughout the night but I like noise and if you bring a sound machine it wouldn’t be noticeable, truly amazing experience and I would love to come again!!!
