An enjoyable stay in Milford

Great location within walking distance to Walnut Beach, Silver Sands State Park, a few restaurants, and ice cream. The cottage was very clean and had everyhing we needed to make our stay comfortable. Donna was an excellent host.

Great Weekend

Spent the weekend for our Son's Parents Weekend at Sacred Heart. Perfect place by the beach and small town. Enjoyed our stay greatly.

Great beach get away!

Over the top clean, great decor, lovely walk to restaurants, ice cream shop and beach. The beach was clean quiet just lively and relaxing!

Cozy little beach cottage.

Unfortunately it rained almost the whole time, but the beds were comfortable and the TV was easy to use. My only criticism is the couch was kind of lumpy and worn out. Other than that, I enjoyed the space very much.

The back porch water view is the star

This is a cute, very small place in a nice location, with a peaceful view of the water from the back stoop (with 2 chairs!) You can hear the water ripple on the shore. Also a very quick walk to a nice little commercial district, complete with an ice cream shop. Was very easy to communicate with the host, which I really appreciated!

Cosy and Convenient on the Water

This is our second stay with Donna and Barry. Everything was perfect from the easy access to the beach to the spotlessly clean, fully stocked kitchen.

Great weekend

The property was exactly as described. We especially enjoyed how short the walk to the small beach was. We did not go to the main beach. The host was pleasant and helpful. We would absolutely book again.

Endless opportunities for activity

Practically on the beach, and centrally located between a wildlife refuge and a state park, with Long Island and NYC less than 2 hours away. Local pizza at La Catrina was epic. Joggers and dog walkers aplently. The only thing that would have made this stay more perfect would have been to bring our pet rabbit along. Oh wait, we did! It was an excellent stay!

Wonderful beach cottage

We so enjoyed our stay in this small, but well appointed and very comfortable, beach cottage. Very convenient and affordable. Donna was super helpful and responsive. The unit came with four comfortable beach chairs and a beach umbrella large enough for two. We recommend going to the beach between Bridgewater and Waterbury avenues, steps away from the cottage, rather than Walnut Beach.

Wonderful!!!

I booked this place for my mother and her friend to visit family up north and this place was true perfection for them! They raved about how clean, updated, easy to park, great amenities and location it was! The owner was so responsive out of the gate. My mom loced it so mych she asked me ahead to check dates around the holidays when we head up again but the house was booked. We'll hopefully book again another time, we head up to see family about 4 or 5 times a year. Worth the booking! Thank you!!!!

Clean, comfortable Getaway

This wonderful property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and comfortable - stocked with all of the essentials, plus more. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time exploring the area as we were in town for Yale Commencement activities, but it sure was nice to have a “home” to come back to each day. I have always stayed at hotels previously, and I booked this place way in advance, so I was a little nervous about the entire process. The host, Donna, always responded immediately when I had any questions, which was very reassuring to me!

Perfect relaxing getaway stay

Very clean 2 bed house, all amenities and peekaboo view of the water. Well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs and short walk to restaurants (Mexican restaurant a few hundred yards was great) and a nice welcoming bar.Highly recommended !

Peace and Quiet

The cottage is immaculate, well stocked with everything you could possibly need! Very quiet neighborhood..in walking distance of several cute restaurants. Beaches are not the Jersey Shore..as expected.. but able to set up a beach chair and relax. Many shells and rocks.. Donna, the host, was so kind and quick to answer any questions.
