"It was uncomfortably hot, too hot to sleep at night and there was a damp feel throughout the entire house. We noticed a musty smell and several areas of mold on drywall. Drywall tape was hanging loose and doors not closing properly, just too much dampness to be comfortable."

They left us a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers upon check-in. Very helpful with things to do in the area. Lovely little tree top cottage. Convenient to area attractions. The furnishings and decor give a European simple elegance, but the spot is SO Maine! We enjoyed the few local spots and proximity to nature…truly fantastic place to unplug for a while! "

"Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...
