Great little hotel at a good location. Nice breakfast. Hotel itself is good, but the service is so so. You should never promise more than you can keep.

The Hotel VMaison is lovely and well located.

We spent two nights and wished we could stay longer. The hotel is very pretty and comfortable. Our room was comfortable. My husband wished for a bit more square feet but I loved it. We ate dinner our first night in the restaurant and had an amazing truffle pizza plus other yummy things. The people at the front desk were helpful and very nice. I loved the decor.

The hotel is quite new and very nice, well located, but the sound isolation is poor, you can hear the sounds from the corridor. But I woke up at night from the fact that I prickled with a pin left in a blanket under the cover and I didn’t hear any explanation or excuse from the hotel, I think it’s unacceptable.

There was no heating in the room. We asked staff for help but they said management had turned the heating off, no offer of extra bedding (which was limited). We slept in our clothes as a result and froze all night. My wife who is unwell suffered terribly and we decided to check out the next morning - stayed only 1 of 4 nights. Front of house extremely apologetic but unable to refund. We messaged via Expedia for a refund but this was declined with a response of "you chose to leave early

1- Other than Francesco, the rest of the reception and restaurant staff seemed pretty disinterested and less than hospitable 2- our room had no English channels 3- water was not provided other than on first night 4- only one espresso cup was provided in room and was not replaced for 3 nights 5 - toilet flush resulted in water overflowing. This was not properly cleaned by housekeeping 6 - only one electrical outlet near TV. Either we could make coffee or we could watch TV (in Italian only) The property is nice and well located but very simple things need to be fixed for the price they are charging

Heating not working in winter

The heating in the room was not working. The room being on ground floor and being in January, during cold weather, it triggered my migraine and I wasn’t feeling well. Eventually I was moved to a different room but it was fairly late, around 7pm and after I requested it. The room I was moved to had no curtains in the bathroom which was overseeing the garden /main entrance, which made it stressful when using the toilets, risking to be seen from outside. The hotel waved the city tax, which is less than €5, so not much given it’s a 5 star hotel with high room rates… The breakfast was very average, pastries were dry and not many options on the buffet.

Een super leuk en hip hotel maar toch ook knus en een gevoel van “thuiskomen” Ontbijt en diner zijn zeer goed. Kamers zijn ruim genoeg en zeer schoon. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben hier echt erg genoten en komen zeker een volgend keer terug.
