The apartment was close to everything but if you are used to staying at hotels (which we are) we long for the convenience, the ease of checking in, etc.

The host Daniele was very supportive and answering to the questions very quickly. We tried most of the recommendations and they were worth it. The location was very nice, on a calm street close to Duomo.

Perfect Milan City Center Location!
We absolutely loved staying at Duomo Suites!! The assigned room help Danielle was extremely responsive via WhatsApp, would answer questions and support any of our needs almost instantly, gave great advice for restaurants. It was like having a personal concierge for the trip. The room was in very good condition, new, no sign of pests, well equipped with appliances including laundry, kitchen. This is so perfectly located in Milan city center Duomo for everything you want to do in Italy nearby, we went to Como, Parma, saw a theater show, etc. Highly Recommend and would absolutely stay here again in the future! The property is modern, clean, close proximity to Duomo and has good facilities inside. However, there is a very active building site (with a huge ground drilling rig machinery) the other side of the bedroom and bathroom wall. We were not notified about this in advance and arrived after dark so didn’t notice. On our first morning we were woken just after 7am, the second day closer to 8am; it was impossible to sleep, the banging was so loud that the floor was vibrating. It was unbelievable. My youngest child was so upset by the banging and drilling so we had to leave and stay out until evening when it would have ended. I made contact via WhatsApp to seek a solution, none was offered. I asked for compensation (we had to eat out when we’d planned to eat in; that’s why we chose an apartment not hotel) and was told it was ‘not nice to ask money’; I’d paid over £200 a night and could not sleep or be in the apartment during the day from 7/8am. I was accused of being hostile (I was seeking resolution - to add a positive angle on my review but was then labelled threatening for mentioning reviews) I keep contacting asking for the compensation I was told I would receive if the noise happened a second day (video evidence sent each day) and am still waiting for management to contact me. It is such a shame as the apartment was nice but customer service has been a very upsetting and distressing experience

Get a hotel instead
We booked an apartment for 3 people. It was set for only 2. Bathroom water were freezing. It took them more than 2 hour to come to fix it. The next day the same problem happened again but no one responded when we complained. Building is old and NOT as shown in photos. As someone already commented - for the price they charge you, better get a hotel room.

Our apartment was very clean and updated. Our host (Daniele) checked in with us prior to our stay, checked in during our stay and was very helpful. He helped us find a near parking garage that was very affordable. The location was perfect and we felt very safe. Not to forget the A/C was a great atmosphere to come back to after an outside day in the heat. Would recommend this stay to anyone!

Excellent location and nice clean small apartment with all basic amenities. No elevator so have to carry laguage to second level. Staff / owner was extremely helpful. Enjoyed the stay.

Wonderful central location
Excellent accommodations! Very clean and comfortable and the staff was amazing with all questions and requests. You can't beat the location either. It was the perfect spot for our family of four vacation!

Completely overpriced. Prefer real hotel.
We would not stay again for anything close to the price we paid. The listing address is incorrect — it’s actually located at Via San Pietro all'Orto 6. Which we were not told except by WhatsApp message, resulting in difficulty when we arrived at the address listed on Hotels.com. This is an apartment complex, not what we were expecting, since the website indicates there are multiple units together. It was super annoying to only contact the staff via WhatsApp message, especially because different numbers were involved at different hours of the day. Can’t utilize services like restaurant concierge, cab bookings or luggage hold like a normal hotel. Beds were ok but pillows were literally rock hard. Basic two bottles of water and two towels provided for a 3-person stay. No soap or full toiletries provided. Not even a teabag. Super disappointed for the price we paid.

Perfect location and large room
Overall a wonderful stay especially that the location is perfect for shopping and site seeing. The only let down is that the shower sink is a little clogged.

good: local experience (a room in apartment, separate bathroom & shared kitchen), location (close to center) bad: noisy... we took the room close to the lift, and the alert sound kept us surprised at night. no cleaning service for 3 nights (towels not changed)
