The Porta Venezia neighborhood is part of the historic center. The neoclassical buildings of Corso Buenos Aires, renowned for shopping, host large chain stores. Nearby, children have fun in the play areas and on the train of the Indro Montanelli Gardens, a large green space also home to the Natural History Museum, with collections of fossils and minerals. The Gallery of Modern Art displays works by European artists in an 18th-century palace.
