Great Apartment!
This apartment was in a great location and was just a short walk to the main sites. the apartment was stocked with everything you would need and was clean and neat. Giancarlo was so great! He was very personable, helpful and detailed with information about the apartment and the city. Central quiet location with helpful landlord
The good points about this holiday apartment were (1) its central location, just 15 mins walk from Piazza Duomo, (2) a landlord, Giancarlo, who communicated promptly and helpfully with advice and provided "taxi" connection to the central station; and (3) the quiet, inner courtyard location. Mosquitoes were a minor annoyance and the sofa would benefit from recovering.

GianCarlo is terrific. He is an extremely gracious and helpful host, helping with directions, informing us as to the neighborhood, good places to eat etc. The apartment is quiet and very well located to walk pretty much anywhere. Only issue was that the furnishings were a bit “tired” and sitting area was small. Because Milan is an interesting and exciting city, it was a minor issue, just stating the single reason we gave four stars instead of five...

Perfect location; generous host; highly recommended
I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed myself a great deal. The host picked me up downtown and drove me to the apartment; he explained all the details, used a map to show me restaurants & patisseries, and recommended places to visit in downtown Milan. I walked everywhere though the streetcar and Metro are close; I felt very safe at night . . . there were many people at local restaurants and bars. There are three locked doors to gain access to the apartment; it was very safe. And, it was quiet; the apartment overlooks a beautiful courtyard filled with plants, trees and some flowers. The property manager drove me to the airport on the morning of my flight - a huge help so that I didn’t have to deal with the metro and train. THANKS AGAIN!. I hope to visit Milan again one day and will definitely stay here again..

Great location and host!
Located on the first floor ( there is an elevator if necessary) and facing the inner courtyard this apartment was easy to access and quiet for sleeping. Host Giancarlo lives in the same building and he was very accessible for check-in/check-out and any questions we had. He provided recommendations for pasticerrias for our breakfast and restaurants for dinner. Easy walk to the Duomo, tram right out front that takes you to the train station in one direction and in the other direction to the Navigli area for walking along the canal and many dining choices. Also close to Metro (3 blocks) and buses (at the corner). Grocery store within 5 minutes walking. This was a great find and we'd stay here again!

Great Place to Stay in Milano
Loved our stay at Giancarlo’s apartment. It is very clean and in a nice residential neighborhood. After long days of sightseeing, it was great to come back and relax and get a great nice sleep on the comfortable bed. The apartment faces a courtyard so it is very quiet. WiFi works great. The bathroom has been remodeled and is updated. The shower is quite small by US standards, but we never ran out of hot water. There are several cafes nearby to have an Italian breakfast plus others for dinner. Two markets are close. The tram that goes to the Naviglio district is just in front of the apartment. Get your tickets at the tabacchino just up the street. Host Giancarlo is the best. He waa very responsive to communications before and during our stay. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at Milano Centrale for reasonable amounts and was right on time. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice location
The apartment is located right on tram line #9; which makes it very convenient getting to Milan's Central train station; this same tram line will also take you to the canal area which is a very trendy area for the locals. The Milan Duomo is a short 10 minute walk or less to the core center of the city.

Giancarlo’s apartment is in a great location. Giancarlo was super helpful and picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport upon our departure. Grazie mille Giancarlo! The apartment is simple and the bathroom is the typical small Italian bathroom, but it had everything we needed and was sufficient for our visit. The AC works really well. You can’t beat the location- just about 5-10 min walk to the Duomo. We had a nice visit to Milan.

Magic in Milan
Magic because of location (core of the city), convenience (major sites are a short walk away), and quality (clean, comfortable, well-equipped). The owner, Giancarlo, was always available when we needed him, but not hovering over us when when not needed. He answered our requests and questions immediately. Thanks to Giancarlo and his beautiful apartment, our first stay in Milan was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation. Magic indeed. Easy Walking Apartment
Giancarlo picked us up at the airport so we didn't have to bother with a taxi. The apartment is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to all or most of the sights in Milan. Giancarlo also recommended several restaurants that we tried and loved them. Especially Pizza OK!. Good and quiet location.

Giancarlo went out of his way to make our first visit to Milan an enjoyable event.It was so nice of him to pick us up at the airport and bring us directly to the apartment especially with the luggage we had for a 4 week trip. Excellent location in the city. It is small on the living area, but adequate for city living.
Kitchen very well equipped. Best part is the host! He picked us up from the train station, filled us in on where to shop and eat and buy groceries. He also took us to the airport at the end of our visit. Nice spot but keep the windows shut in September as the mosquitos are hungry during that time of year! Location could not be better for seeing the sites.

What a Lovely Apartment!
Even though we left Milan just a few days ago, my husband and I continue to talk about the wonderful apartment where we stayed and our incredible host we had the pleasure to meet in Milan. Our visit started with the kind, caring, and personable Giancarlo (the owner) waiting on us at the train station. He whisked us to his place, gave an informative tour of his delightful neighborhood, and wowed us with his apartment tour. He had everything that a homeaway should have...fabulous cooking utensils, an awesome washing machine, a comfortable bed, lovely and playful art, bold, Milan colors, top notch design, and even the most delicious communal coffee we experienced in Milan. We loved the proximity to everything with both the Metro and grocery store right up the street, fun and lively restaurants nearby, and fantastic security. The very comfortable bed, beautifully decorated bathroom, table for two...it was all so fantastic. But perhaps the best thing happened as we left Milan. It was pouring rain outside and once again, Giancarlo offered to take us to the train station once again. I watched him as he gracefully ran through the rain like a gazelle to retrieve his car. He put our large suitcases inside and shared some morning laughter with us all the way to the train. He and his apartment made our time in Milan a pure delight! Thank you, Giancarlo!

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and he took great care in showing and explaining to me how things worked. The location is convenient to public transportation, city center, shopping, and in a quiet neighborhood. This cosy apartment is in a great local neighborhood. Close to main sites. (Duomo is about 25 minute walk.) Tram and subway nearby. Very safe, clean and quiet. I am travelled solo (female) and always felt safe. Good local cafes nearby...it was great to be off the crowded tourist track. The bedroom is spacious and the kitchen/dining is cosy but has all you need. The air conditioning is perfect for summer. Clean, well maintained and elegant entry and courtyard. The host was easy to contact and quick to reply. He offers a great pick-up and drop-off service to transport hubs from the apartment. It made for a seamless check-in and departure.

This apartment is located on a posh street in Milan. The area is very safe. Many upscale restaurants and cafes are in the area. Giancarlo was very quick to communicate with us. He was very hospitable and shared his favourite parts of Milan and nearby restaurants. Lovely little apartment in Milano
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is nicely decorated and in a lovely neighborhood. Kitchen is very small but we were able to cook some meals there. Our host, Giancarlo, was very helpful and responsive. He also provides transport to and from the airport and train station to the apartment, for a fee, which is very convenient. There are some very nice restaurants and bars nearby and the grocery store is only 2 blocks away. We would have loved to have had one english language news channel such as CNN, but other than that everything was great.

Great apartment and easy to get around in Milan!
Giancarlo was very nice and accommodating. The apartment is located very close to many of the sights, about a 15 -20 min walk to the Dumo. Public transportation is very nearby and super easy to MALPENSA. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and very quiet. Definitely would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for two nights. The apartment was nicely renovated. The living space is small but was nicely laid out for two people. The bedroom area was spacious. The location is perfect as it is only about a 15 minute walk to the center of Milan. Giancarlo did a wonderful job explaining details in the apartment, locations for stores, coffee and restaurants. He also offered for a low cost to take us to the train station which helped a lot since it was raining. We loved the restaurant nearby called “God save the food”. Great recommendation.

Mailand eine Entdeckung für uns
Die Tage in Mailand waren wirklich wunderschön, das Appartement ( sehr gepflegt), liegt sehr günstig, das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, die Straßenbahn hält fast vor der Türe und fährt zum Bahnhof und auch sonst an sehr viele Orte in Mailand! Die Cafés, auch eine Pizzeria, gute Tipps von Giancarlo, sind sehr lecker und bezahlbar! Die Mailänder sind sehr freundlich, wir kommen bald wieder! Monika und Norbert

Molto lontana dalla descrizione internet. Non è al centro di Milano
La foto del portone induce a pensare ad un posto di grande classe, in realtà è un modesto appartamentino su un vecchio cortile interno, con micro bagno, cucina, e un divanetto a due posti con frigorifero, spazzatura e angolo cottura tutto insieme. Presenza di una pensione a 2 stelle con via vai di clienti e fazzoletti di carta usati sul pavimento dell'androne. Punti dolenti sono una porta di comunicazione con l'appartamento occupato dal proprietario che lascia passare qualsiasi suono o voce, e per una coppia è chiaramente fastidioso e un enorme specchio proprio sopra l'unico letto della casa,ci si chiede perché sia in quella posizione. Inquietante. tutto molto modesto e completamente inappropriato il prezzo richiesto. Ci siamo stati il minimo possibile, e ce ne siamo andati al più presto. Se lo conosci lo eviti.

I invite everybody to disregard the declarations reported in this review by the guest, as they are clearly FALSE and TENDENTIAL and in stark contrast with both the evidence and the reviews written by all the other guests, coming from all over the world. Contrary to what was declared by the guest, the apartment is located in the best area of Milan: and very central in the city (as you can see from Google Maps). The building has been declared of historical-architectural interest, therefore it is perfectly maintained and cleaned by the concierge. The apartment is very cozy, completely INDEPENDENT, with a large bedroom and a very comfortable ergonomic bed, as well as the bathroom. The furniture is modern and brand new. The falsehoods reported by the guest are a paltry retaliation for having been reprimanded for his rudeness and arrogance towards the young girl who checked him in, and for having been rebuked for his troublesome conduct throughout his stay, both during the day and night, after which he left the hair dryer broken and the sheets in an "indescribable" state which I had to throw away. Vi invito a diffidare delle dichiarazioni riportate in questa recensione da parte dell'ospite, in quanto sono palesemente FALSE e TENDENZIOSE ed in netto contrasto con sia con l’evidenza sia con le recensioni rese da tutti gli altri ospiti, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo. Contrariamente a quanto dichiarato dall'ospite l’appartamento si trova nella migliore zona di Milano: e centralissima nella città (come potete vedere da Google Maps) . Il palazzo è stato dichiarato di interesse storico-architettonico, pertanto è perfettamente mantenuto e pulito dalla concierge. L’appartamento è molto accogliente, completamente INDIPENDENTE, con un ampia camera da letto ed un letto ergonomico molto confortevole, come pure il bagno. I mobili sono moderni e nuovissimi. Le falsità riportate dall'ospite sono una becera ritorsione per essere stato ripreso per la sua maleducazione ed arroganza nei confronti della giovane ragazza che ha effettuato il check in, nonché per essere stato redarguito per la sua condotta molesta durante tutto il soggiorno, sia di giorno che di notte, al termine del quale ha lasciato l’asciugacapelli rotto e le lenzuola in stato “indescrivibile” che ho dovuto gettare.

Mon appartement est bien connu pour etre très calme à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur, comme en témoignent tous mes commentaires. Je suis surpris par ce que M. Jacques et sa femme Marylin ont dit. Ils ont peut-être confondu mon appartement avec d'autres, compte tenu des nombreuses étapes de leurs vacances
