I want to live here.

A perfect stay! The property was exactly what we needed. The grounds are beautiful and so enjoyable to walk. Our doggo loved exploring without restriction. Our hosts were accommodating and helpful.

Second to None.

Everything about our stay was great. Love the location and comfortably fit all 4 of us for the few days we were in town for the holiday. Will be our go to place anytime we get back up to Michigan to visit family.

Great stay.

Great place to stay if you have a boat and don't mind driving a few minutes to the lake. You can sleep well at night knowing your boat and gear is safe.

close to Ann Arbor for the activities we were there for, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. The facility was cozy, comfortablr, and had a nice kitchen so we could eat in when we didn't wish to fight the crowds (football weekend)

2 adults/2 dogs loved the pond!

A MUST! Everything cited in the listing is accurate. Loved the pond, kayaking, chasing frogs. Saw turtles, deer and and eagles. Thoughtful, friendly hosts gave us exactly what we needed for a week away.

Beautiful Relaxing Stay

Pictures dont disappoint. House is very nice and clean along with the property. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. This was our 2nd stay and definitely look forward to the next! Kids loved it and my dog loved it even more!!!

Lovely Quiet and dog friendly!

Nice very well maintained guest house in wood area. Drive to Ann Arbor was easy. Visited several small towns nearby and found good food and wine. Host was easy to communicate with and made us feel so welcomed. Home was spotless! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hidden spot!

Great place, very clean. Surrounded by trees, quiet place. Owners are very nice and dogs are very friendly. Good location for easy access to Detroit, by far enough away to not have any traffic. Highly recommend a local favorite spot for food and drinks called the Little Brown Jug, downtown Milan is only 10 minutes away and has a cute little down town area. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect bungalow for a family stay

We stayed in the cottage while visiting our daughter at the Univ of Michigan. Location was fantastic (about 25 minutes from campus) & the home was immaculate. This was a multi-generation trip with a dog so having multiple bedrooms was critical and we didn't want hotel rooms. After a long day in the sun at the Big House, coming back was the perfect end to the day. Thank you Jill & Michael & we look forward to staying with you again!!

First Time EVER in Ann Arbor!!!

My family and I loved staying here! We came to stay because we wanted to try out a VRBO instead of a hotel and this place will definetly be the place we come to again if we come back this way. We all felt like we were at home and it was cozy and comfortable and it wasn't that bad of a drive to what we were doing. The place itself was nice because I love fall so I took some photos and just loved it, and like I said my family did too and they also took some fall photos. Very nice and relaxing. I give this place 10 stars:)

Cute little house in the peaceful country!

My family and I loved this cute guest house next to the woods.The hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with. The details in the house felt like it was really cared for. It was warm and welcoming, and very comfortable. And it may seem strange, but since I am sensitive to smells, I noticed that it smelled great but not too perfume-y, including the sheets and towels.The only thing I would have done different is to bring more drinking water.We had an enjoyable time bringing in the New Year here.Thank you so much!

It was nice and quiet. The main house is very close to the vrbo which is a little misleading in the photos. The vrbo was clean and nicely maintained. For us, we prefer more space and solitude away from people. But overall, this is very nice.

Relaxing home away from home
