Very quiet, spacious rooms with a soothing rainfall shower in the bathroom. Very secure building. Staff friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our luggage off prior to check-in, which saved lugging it around Milan. Within a short walk to the Duomo and the Metro system. Highly recommend this property

I booked this property expecting (as advertised) 2BR/2BA Suite. In a hotel like facility. What we were given was a partially upgraded (bath) old set of odd rooms in some sort of broken up apartment building. You entered into a bedroom which you had to walk through to get to a room that barely fit the second bed. There was no sitting area in this odd space. Peeling paint, broken window sashes, broken toilet seat plus no outdoor space. absolutely no talking or noise allowed in the courtyard shown in photos. Decent location. But I do not recommend this place.

Location was good and check in and out was very easy. The staff was responsive and friendly. Since the location also houses residence there, it was very quiet and nice. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Duomo Smart Suites. Hans was the ultimate host and extremely helpful. He stored our bags when we arrived before checkin, took time to ensure we had the proper codes to access our room, answered all our questions patiently and made sure our stay was comfortable. The room exceeded our expectations. The bathroom was spacious, with a huge sink, rainfall shower and excellent water pressure. Water and coffee were included in the price we paid. The room offered a separate sitting area and two closets, and the entire space was very clean. This hotel is tucked away down a side street so very quiet. It does share a courtyard with home owners, so noise in the courtyard is prohibited, which we appreciated. The Duomo and Galleria were a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel, along with access to public transportation, pharmacy and a Carrefour right down the street. Great experience all around.

A large wooden door opens up to two courtyards with wisteria… beautiful setting. Generally quiet, although some apartment owners were noisy in the evening. No one had picked up my emails regarding needing hypo-allergenic bedding, but the team quickly replaced the pillows and duvet. Bathroom tap didn’t have particularly good pressure but the shower was great. Lovely place to stay.

The property is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk to the Duomo, many stores and restaurants. There are metro, tram and bus stops within less than 5 minutes walk. The property manager Hans was easily accessible, very responsive to requests and willing to help. My family and I will definitely come back to Duomo Smart Suites next time we visit Milan.

The Smart Suites Duomo is a great place to stay, the room was well decorated, very clean and it was a very pleasant stay. Close to the metro and in walking distance from the duomo. We had a wonderful dinner at the nearby Trattoria Milanese that I can recommend. The staff was friendly. A good option instead of a hotel.

This place is terrible. Its located in a dark street, we felt so unsafe we didnt even get out of the car. Noone to help you, if you bring a familybwith children beware. You have to lug all your belongings yourself, there is no parking, or even a place to park and unload. We drove away, me and my family, we felt very unsafe, the person that answered the phone was very rude. Skip this place, not worth it

Dear Mr. Lopez, your behaviour is (and was) simply ridiculous and should honestly be ashamed of yourself. Our street is supersafe and quiet and nothing has ever happened in the whole neighborood, which is meters away from Duomo. The real reason behind this guest's no-show is that - after spending 115 Euros in 4 (four!!) adults (just because of the extremely slow season, ofc) for a quadruple room, among our nicest - the very demanding Mr. Lopez parked his car 100 meters away and told (not asked...) our duty manager, Hans, to reach his parking spot and pick up their family's luggage,... Mr. Lopez must be definitely used to some unusual bell-boying, 'cause this behaviour is inconceivable even at the Four Seasons. Oh, by the way, our property has plenty of drop off parking space right in front of it.

This place was amazing. So close to everything and safe. Perfect for solo travelers….and everyone! It really feels like a little home. There is also a market right by, within a 30 second walk. Hanz was amazing and greets you when you get there and shows you how all the cool things work :) definitely recommend!

Great place to stay! Very roomy and comfortable Host kept in excellent contact and was helpful!! Able to walk to Duomo and there was shopping and restaurants around. Place was super clean. Great walk in shower!! Beautiful courtyard !! Would recommend and would stay again

Needs lots of reparation, shower leaks to the bathroom, wood floor by the shower is all rotten and moldy, as well as the wall. Shower was dirty and had hairs on the wall from previous guests. Hand rail was so dirty that my hand was black from all the dirt. Strong smell of humidity in the restrooms as soon as you walk in. Bed sheets and pillows were uncomfortable.

We enjoyed the size of the suite and all the amenities, including the kitchen if you were staying for a longer periid of time. It was easy to walk from the suite to the Milan Duomo only 10 minutes away, and everything else was close by. You.have to watch your hed when entering the main door as it must.have been built with short leople in mind, although there is a sign that says watch your head. Only missed it once! However everything was great and Hans greeted us when we got there, as we didn't see his earlier Whatsapp message before we arrived as we didn't have wifi.

Nice stay. Carlos was very helpfull. The shower had a problem with being too hot and it was had to stand under it. Neighborhood was convenient and authentic.

Nice hotel in great location
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. It is in a great location about a 10 minute walk south of the Duomo. The check in process was very easy- Hans was waiting for us and all I needed to do was text him to let us in. Just be aware this hotel does not have a front desk and is in a residential building so you are kind of on your own once you check in (they also warn us to be very quiet and we were not allowed to spend time in the courtyard area). The apartment is very nice and spacious, the only complaint I have is that the shower water stayed really hot and we could not get it to go colder no matter what setting we put the knob on. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This was a lovely, quiet place to base ourselves in Center of Milan. Close to all of the things that the old section of Milan has to offer. Hans welcomed us into this hideaway in a beautiful old building . He gave us good advice about things to see and do and was very responsive to us.

The room is spacious. Lock codes were provided but multiple door before you get to your room. You cannot make any noise like rolling your luggage on their ground, what the heck is that. No TV signal. It’s like a convent. No breakfast. I would go close to Duomo instead. This place is 20 minutes walk to Duomo. Check out is automatic and can’t see any people around. Weird place. I don’t recommend this place. No one can assist you to call for a taxi to get to the airport. Please post this review. Very limited place. Go somewhere else.

Location was so peaceful, entry to the room was through a locked gate and courtyard. We really liked how my daughter had a separate room with a bed and door that could be closed for her privacy. Staff were very accessible for inquiries, they sent us some recommendations on sites to visit while in Milan.

Overall a pleasant one night stay. Room was very spacious with a nice bed. Great location. Good service from staff. One complaint was that the room had a bit of an unpleasant musky odor. The shower was very nice, but the temperature control was broken leaving it only scalding hot.

Expedia did a horrible job communicating to the hotel what room type I booked. I booked king size bed and sofa bed for 2 adults and 1 child 17. When we arrived I was given a room that didn’t look like any pictures that was on Expedia. The room is very old and has queen and a single sofa. The toilet seat kept moving around. The manager was nice but not much he could have done to fix the problem with the type of the room Expedia communicated to him. The place is conveniently located it’s not a hotel is more like a room in a private building. You have to be quite everywhere and not even to roll our suitcases on the ground. We were there with friends and couldn’t stay in the courtyard to talk we had to go inside. My husband was waiting for us just outside of the room and he was asked to leave outside of the courtyard or inside. Crazy rules. Huge problem with mosquitoes that were in the room somehow as well. Pillows not comfortable and the bed was so close to the wall when I was getting up in the night I hit the wall with my feet and I am short. Expedia we definitely need to have a conversation about miss advertising this place
