A great stay at Milan!

It was a last minute plan to stay overnight at Milan and this place was just amazing overall. It was at a great location, the receptionist was very helpful and the room was absolutely amazing! Very clean and spacious, amazing interiors and the garden and sit out area was very aesthetic. I definitely recommend this to all travelers.

Nice stay in central Milano.

The place is really nice. Esp for those who like to be immersed in a more historical atmosphere vs something more modern. Centrally located and walking distance to all the most important attractions of Milano. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly. For those travelling by car, there's a very close garage available with a pricing agreement through the Hotel. Overall a great stay. Thanks!

We only stayed at this hotel one night but I wish we had stayed longer. The room was small but comfortable. It was the most comfortable bed of our trip. Breakfast was great. The hotel is set back from the street in a courtyard which made it very quiet and private. There was some noice from other rooms- but not excessive, just the nature of an older building. Would definitely stay again if I was in Milan!

We found the communal space of the hotel to be charming. Our room, which had a freestanding tub was in an attic space that didn't have much going for it in the way of decor. The dated green carpet and haphazard furnishings did not suggest "boutique" hotel or justify the price. Additionally, we tried to fill the tub and there was very limited hot water so it wasn't possible to enjoy this feature.

Central location with garden breakfast

I had a few days of stay at the Antica Locanda for business purposes. The hotel is at the back of a building away from the streets and was quiet. I had a room with direct access to the garden, which was great to have. My bathroom had a shower. The service was friendly but as I was in a different entrance I only visited the entrance at arrival and departure (I had business meetings in the morning, so I missed the breakfast in the garden, and am sorry about that.) The hotel is next to the church with Last Supper, and there are a number of good restaurants of all kinds in the neighbourhood. The Milano Cadorna railway station is 10 minutes walk, which is good if you come late at night from Malpensa, where the train only goes there after about 22.00. The Duomo is also in walkable distance (not close, but walkable), and it is close to other public transportation too.

The staff was wonderful, very helpful and very patient. The location was ideal; close to transportation and walkable to most places we wanted to go. The rooms are all on a courtyard, so quite quiet. We will certainly book here again the next time we are in Milan.

Antica Locanda Leonardo is a quaint, old-fashioned hotel. Has a feel for being from an earlier age of travel. I only stayed one night but definitely hope to return for a longer period of time. There is a bistro next door that is also worth a visit. I loved the experience. Most importantly, it is very near the church where Leonardo's Last Supper is situated. A great surprise (well beyond expectations) and a must see!

Great potential but a few issues.

Very charming hotel, I stayed in the small house on the courtyard. Few issues though: 1. Sound proofing: very limited such from the hallway. When other guests talked in the hallway or entered closed their door, the walls in my room literally vibrated. Also heard the tramway quite well. 2. Bed: I see others praised the beds but I found them way to hard, and the clay-like foam mattress didn't work for me. Left with back pain.
