The area located west of the Duomo, where Corso Magenta is situated—stretching from Santa Maria delle Grazie, home to Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper, to Piazzale Baracca—is filled with 19th- and 20th-century buildings inhabited by affluent families and prestigious institutions.

A major cultural institution in the area is the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology: beloved by young and old alike not only for its exhibitions and workshops, but also for the Toti submarine on display in the courtyard.

Luxurious cafés and pastry shops lend the area an extra touch of sophistication, along with iconic spots like the Galleria Rossana Orlandi and the Ferrari and Lamborghini dealerships.
