Just a short walk from the beach, the villa Art Gallery House is located in La Cala de Mijas. The 2-storey villa consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 14 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, AIR CONDITIONING IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN THE LIVING ROOM, fans are available in all rooms, a washing machine as well as a TV. A baby crib and high chair are available upon request.

Good place for golfers

The property is very good place for golfers where it's easy to park outside the entrance with alla golfbags etc and the common areas is very good for social activities

Traditional house with homely feel

This is our second time of staying in this villa. The location, walkable to Mijas, is excellent. There is plenty of space for 10 guests in varying rooms. It is not modern luxury but a very traditional and interesting house which is very comfortable and good communal areas. The pool area is huge with plenty of sun beds and a well maintained pool. We had a couple of issues, one with hot water but the owner/contact was very responsive and it was quickly sorted. Excellent security. Not all rooms were the same so some had nicer bedrooms but in general a good and very large villa.

Lovely, well located Villa in nice urbanisation

This is a mature Villa with all the facilities you need on holiday. A couple of small issues were solved immediately by the owner, who communicated with us throughout our stay and ensured we had everything we needed. Although it is near the main road, the pool area was secluded and there was not much noise. The pool itself was a great size and was kept very clean. The kitchen area was well equipped and there were plenty of different seating areas for socialising. It takes only 10 minutes to walk into La Calla de Mijas and the nearby restaurants in the urbanisation were lovely. Although It is not a modern place which some people like, it retains its eclectic charm and has a homely feel. Thank you to Veronique for being a good host.

Pros: Beautiful place, huge property snd a great location just a few minutes walk to the beach/town, and a great view of the sea. The pool was big, very warm, and perfect for our large family! Very glad there were two fridges! Cons: The lack of air conditioning in any of the bedrooms made it VERY hot in most of the rooms, even with ceiling fans. There was a portable A/C unit which helped but it could only be used in one of the rooms since it needs a window to vent to, and was not super efficient since the window had to be open to vent. The noise from the highway down below wasn’t an major issue (and we expected it), but without it there it would have been much more peaceful in the evenings. Ants were also a problem. Most were outside but some managed to get inside and got in some of the beds at night. Also, the dishwasher did not work for us so we were forced to wash the dishes by hand the whole week.

Family holiday

As 3 generations traveling together the bedroom layout was perfect. Each family could have privacy. The communal areas were big enough for all of us to be together. Pool area really good for the whole family. Only downsides were no aircon in the bedrooms and the BBQ tucked away from the outside eating area. We had a great holiday.

Great holiday with only a few issues

Pros: Access to the pool and the the relaxed atmosphere and privacy in the property rather than in a hotel. It was easy to access the local town, shops, beach, market and local transport Cons: The grass around the edge of the pool was not cut - it was very long. A lot of grass therefore ended up in the pool

Boendet var fantastiskt bra och jag skulle verkligen rekommendera det!

Pros: Huset var jättemysigt, med många rum och boendeytor. Trädgården hade en bra pool och flera sitt-möjligheter! Läget var bra, nära strand och Mijas! Vi trivdes fantastiskt bra! Cons: Allt var bra förutom, en liten sak...kaffebryggaren ( skaffa en ny, för den här tar evigheter, stänger av emellanåt och kaffet blir inte varmt...:) Annars var allt bra! 😀

Workation Experiment in Marbella

Mit insgesamt vier Kollegen haben erstmalig Workation in der schönen Location erprobt.Dies war dort sehr gut möglich; allerdings hätten mehr als 4 Personen keinen Platz dafür gehabt (da u.a. das WLAN nicht bis in die Zimmer reicht bzw. das Haus nicht darauf ausgerichtet ist)Die nahegelegene Schnellstraße hörte man teilweise nachts.Alles in Allem ist das Haus sehr gut ausgestattet und wird von einer sehr freundlichen Vermieterin betreut.Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge nach Marbella und Malaga Berge.Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Fint hus med bra läge.

Pros: Bra kontakt med värden innan ankomst som också hjälpte oss att ordna transfer. Mycket fint hus med gott om plats. Stor pool som dock inte är uppvärmd. Bra köksutrustning. Bra läge närhet till strand , affärer och byn Cala Mijas. Grannen till huset är en fin Indisk restaurang med mycket god mat. Cons: Lite dåligt med duschhandukar men det fanns tvättmaskin.

For our group (parents, children and grand children) it fits for all. Parking lot at the entrance for our 3 rental cars was quiet and safe. Access to the beach is easy and just a short walk. The view at the seaside was marvellous and the noise from the traffic was bearable.

Pros: We had a lovely 13 days holiday. We were 9 Peoples and enjoyed every day in the house and garden. The children loved the pool, while the adults enjoyed the sunbeds and the sun. The location was perfect for us. Only a 10 minutes walk and we were in La Cala, a cozy place with restaurants, shops and supermarkets. And not to forget the great beach promenade where we walked many kilometres fast every day. Another must, is to visit Mijas Pueblo, a very special town in the hight, where you can enjoy a meal, while you are enjoying the view. We visited also the Museum of art, where Picasso, Dali etc. was represented. We rented a car, so we had the posibility to visit Marbella and Fuengirola. At all we were very satisfied, with the rental manager and the service, and a villa with all you can wish.
