The room is not sound proof… one can hear the outside and upstairs noise.

It’s an original amongst the new surrounding building and hotels but a prime location for family with younger kids, was quiet at night, and we had the whole mother’s beach site to ourselves with a very large playground and clean water shore the next day. Nearby walkable breakfast cafes and restaurants made up for not having breakfast on site.
We had to ask for extra towels but there is a sign to ask in the front if needed, not a big deal.
