"Very quiet, maintained very well and the staff Ms. Bev, Donna and Randy were absolutely perfect. They were accommodating without being noticed. The masseuse was awesome. The fishing trip is for the hearty. Local wooden boats with no creature comforts. The beach is almost vacant. I think there were a total of 9 people on the beach all week. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I highly recommend Ranny the driver. We will be coming back."

"Accommodating and helpful staff. Wonderful sea views. Clean and well maintained rooms and property. The pool water was a little cloudy but everything else was perfect. The cuisine was on point too "

"No cable.. return to property at 10:45 pm the gate was closed. I had to open the gate to enter the property. Pathway to my room was dark. I found this to be unsafe. Overall staff members were pleasant.. property needs to be renovated. Poorly kept."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property. Great location in Black River on the beach. The place was easy to find, safe, and clean. The beds were very comfy, cool AC, and had great wifi. I highly recommend staying here and will stay again in the future. "

"Bliss by the Sea was absolutely amazing. From top to bottom, this is our favorite vacation ever. Starting with our pick up from the airport. Our driver, Mark, was a great communicator which made him easy to find. He was super friendly out of the gate. Stopped at a jerk place along the way since our party hadn’t really eaten. We arrived to meet Jennifer and Shamara who had dinner waiting for us. They took such good care of us the entire time. Anything we asked for they delivered! They anticipated everything. And this house!!!! It’s just so well appointed and perfectly situated. We would go from the sparkling clean pool to the ocean (which was really only us) and back to the pool to lounge around, read, listen to music, snack, play games, it was really exactly what we all needed. Mark was available and able to drive us to any activities we had planned. Speaking of planning, Nicole the manager was so helpful. She answered all our questions quickly and thoughtfully be it money exchange or spots for lunch or helping us organize a tour. Other things of note: the beds were comfy, the showers were hot, the WiFi was pretty good and only failed us one night and that’s when it was pouring rain. We can’t say enough good things about this place and we can’t wait to return. Do yourself a favor and book a couple extra days longer than you think you’ll need, you’ll want them. "As per email exchange with Hotels.com, we are trying to obtain a refund for this booking as, on arrival at the hotel, the gate was chained closed. We had kept trying to phone to confirm our ETA but the telephone number was unobtainable. The hotel did not attempt to contact us. We were very disappointed as the remote location really appealed to us."
