"We had a wonderful stay! This home was the perfect home base for all of our Up North excursions, and coming back to a beautiful spot right on Grand Lake each day was a bonus.The house was exceptionally clean—truly spotless. You could tell that attention was given to every detail, from the baseboards and windows to the ceilings, closets, and corners. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and coffee, which we really appreciated.There were also so many thoughtful extras, including kayaks, a firepit with firewood provided, beautiful flower boxes, and hummingbird and bird feeders outside the main living area. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks or firepit, but it was nice having them available.Tony was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive whenever we had a question. You can tell a lot of care goes into this home and making guests feel comfortable. We would absolutely recommend staying here!-Brandon and Karrie S."

"This was a month in paradise…we didn’t want to leave!!! It is so quite and remote…we loved having coffee and cocktails on the deck…literally about 30’ from the beautiful lake…we walked the shore and collected rocks, watched the tankers passing on the horizon…and even got to track the sailors in the 102nd port Huron-Mackinac race…and, of course swam in the clear brusque lake!!! Was thinking we wouldn’t see the sunset on the “sunrise side”…but we had beautiful pink sunsets to the north, and got to see the unusual orange “buck moon “ rising at the end of the month…even arriving to swimmers cove was an adventure winding thru gravel roads and little Harry’s hunt club road until you pull up to the lake…The house was clean and very comfortable…and we appreciated that it was dog friendly…with tie out both in the front and back…Felix loved laying in the sun on the deck…Anna was a great host, responding to any questions we had promptly, and was very helpful find golf courses, restaurants, etc…I would highly recommend this private gem…and hope to come back again…and again!!!"

"You will need to bring your own WI-FI such as a mobile Hotspot if you want to watch anything other than DVDs. All of the outlets are 2 prong, no ground. Otherwise an excellent rustic cabin."
Breathtaking Sunsets: Lake Huron Beachfront Escape

"What a great getaway! The home was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy the big lake. The kayaks were nice to paddle out into the bay, the sunsets were amazing from the upper deck, and the s'mores on the beach were a nice touch. Very comfortable beds and plenty of room for our family of four with two doggos to enjoy. Not to mention the hot tub overlooking the bay was clean and relaxing! Can't wait to go back!"
