By the bay a thatched house lies so beautifully

When you arrive, you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the sofa corner or sit down at the long table with a board game until dinner is ready. You can serve a buffet, which can be enjoyed overlooking the large, open garden through the slatted windows. After dinner, take a bubble bath in one of the two bathrooms. When it's time to get under the covers, you can spread out in the six bedrooms. For example, you can make yourself comfortable on the first floor under the sloping ceiling. Here you can look for bats through the window before settling into the warm bed.



In the garden, sunbathe on one of the sun loungers with your favorite magazine and a cup of tea in hand. Close your eyes and listen to the silence. You can also listen to an audiobook while keeping an eye on the kids playing ball at the soccer goal. Children and the young at heart can also enjoy a swing under the beautiful old trees. In the evening, you can have a barbecue on the terrace under the parasol and sit here until the evening mist begins to settle over the field. The next morning you can walk down to the beach while everything is still peaceful and dive into the water from the private jetty. The grounds extend right down to the water's edge.



You can also take a trip to the public beach at Føns. Here you can eat a hot dog when you get hungry after a long day by the water. If you want to experience the sea in a different way, you can take kayaks and sail around the calm, shiny waters of the bay. You can also take a trip to Middelfart, which is 15 km from the house. Here you can stop by the café Stina's for an inviting piece of cake. If you want to go further afield, it's about 40 km to Odense, where you can visit the museum in H.C. Andersen's House.
