Houseboat at Mookerplas

The houseboats on the Mookerplas don't just enjoy a beautiful location but are also furnished in a very comfortable way; they are suitable for any time of the year. The entrance to the accommodation is from the jetty. You will immediately notice the large windows and the view that comes with it. There is a nice living space with an open-plan kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a bunk bed) and a modern bathroom. During beautiful days, the furnished roof terrace is of course the most wonderful place to be, offering an unobstructed view over the Mookerplas.

Starting today, Marina Mookerplas features a 6-person Barrel Sauna with Dome for rent offering spectacular views of the Mookerplas. It can be booked all year round on an hourly basis by guests staying in the Houseboats.

In spring and summer, this recreational lake comes alive with water sports, offering options to rent a sloop, kayak, or SUP, swim, or fish from your accommodation. Enjoy walking or cycling routes around the lake, featuring beaches and relaxing spots.

Autumn and winter also provide a cozy experience on your houseboat, serving as a peaceful base to explore the area. Activities include hiking in the Mookerheide nature reserve and biking on popular trails. The region is rich in culture, with many castles to explore. Don’t miss Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands, just 15 km away—a perfect day trip destination.
