"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? "We had a wonderful weekend here. We cycled round the breathtaking Lake Vrynwy and came back to a soak in the hot tub. The next day, we visited the stunning Powis Castle with beautiful gardens. We would love to come again. The cottage was lovely. "

"I asked for a quiet room, and they happily obliged, plus parking for my motorcycle which again was provided in their private (but small) car park. The car park was a bit difficult to find, but if you head towards the Premier Inn, it's dirctly opposite and is part of the Four Seasons hotel. Breakfast was vey good and filling. A few minutes walk to the centre and the sea front. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area. "
