Room was clean, good A/C, and comfortable beds. Great location near the train station and bus stops are near by. Be sure and try out 6th & G St breakfast company. Excellent food and coffee.

Was supposed to stay at The Welk , a Hyatt vacation club resort in Escondido, it was awful (including the service and room). We left within 20 mins of being there. Drove straight to the Omni in Carlsbad. This hotel and staff were AMAZING! From the registration desk, the food, rooms, pools, grounds, all of it. Impeccable service and incredibly clean. It was a true Oasis. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved our experience. I can’t wait to go back.

it’s not what you expect for the price. Checking in was not a good experience rooms not ready until 4 pm. No early check in available. We stayed two nights no room service and the AC didn’t work properly. Would not recommend it.
