quiet and serene mountain surroundings
no noisy kids
Food excellent, fantastic variety, but a little salty

Generally a very pleasant stay. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was fantastic, and the hotel is conveniently located. The only issues were that we could hear our neighbors clearly through the night, and the beds were extraordinarily firm.
I would recommend this hotel and perhaps you could request a foam pillow and another blanket to make the bedding more comfortable.

Some rooms only accessable by stairs
Apparently, standard rooms are on an intermediate floor only accessable by stairs. Not horrible but inconvenient. Staff was very helpful in porting our luggage to our rooms. So it all worked out.
