Downtown alternative if you are down

It helps to know going in that this is not actually a hotel but that the condos/rooms are sometimes rented out for short term stay. Can't really beat the price for being smack dab in the Miami financial district, if you don't mind getting everything done yourself. The staff in charge of the short term rental were nice and friendly and their office is on site, though hours are limited. They made sure the room was clean when we got there and were kind enough to supply extra toilet paper rolls. The rooms are fully furnished and you get a large fridge and a stove as well as most things you'll need to cook and eat on site. The only thing we bought were utensils. There's cable and wireless internet for those who need to stay connected. All in all it was not too bad the 4 days we stayed but that is probably because we were out most of the day. It did the job as a place to go back to at the end of a long day and get decent sleep hours.

A dirty room and bathroomm. The carpet was todirty

Very bad really. Never more I'll stay there. The carpet and the bathroom soo dirty. Even soap to wash the dishes. The bed very bad. Sooo expensive to that room. I don' T now How do you recomend this hotel. Next time will be dificult to believe in your recomendation

Comfortable condo stay.

The location was great. There are plenty of things to do, eat, and see within walking distance of the condo. We couldn't control the thermostat and it got really cold in there so we had to leave the door open to get some warmth in the room. There was also a door on the balcony. Some of the bedding did have holes and oil stains on them. I went to grab another blanket and there were large holes in that comforter.

This is not a hotel. It is a condo

Owner rents condo to travelers. Good location downtown next to Brickell Bay. Spacious with nice living area and up to date kitchen. Washer dryer. Nice balcony with view of bay. Not well maintained or cleaned however. It worked for me but if my wife had been travelling with me she would have had a fit seeing hair in the shower. For a hotel rate you get an apartment but without hotel service and cleaning. I would go back.

Very nice, Comfortable 1/1 apartment located in the heart of Brickell near metro mover station and mary brickel village area Definitively would consider staying here again in future visits to Miami. Only negative feedback: No parking available in the building for guests, must pay valet parking in near by buildings

Inadequate oversight of condo rentals

The room we rented at The Club at Brickell Bay was not up to the standards we expect. The room did not have not one comfortable chair. Seating consisted of three folding chairs and one bad desk chair. The desk itself was made of particle board. There was only one night table and lamp next to the queen sized bed. Linens were weary. In the bathroom the porcelain tub was chipped. There was no hair dryer. Closet shelves had come off of the wall and were piled in the closet. A coat closet door was badly fitted and askew. The TV signal was bad and the TV itself was a 17" computer screen. All in all, we would never return.

Just OK

First I would like to give credit to Sofia who ran the front desk for making our stay a good one. She worked hard and was extremely attentive in making sure our stay was a good one. In short she was the best. I was prepared for the worst after reading prior reviews and many of those reviews are accurate. The property is in a prime location but the rooms are definitely run down. We paid a premium as this was ULTRA Music Fest weekend. This is not a hotel it is a short term rental so don't expect any service what so ever. But this owner is very short sited for less than $5 per stay they could do a few things to make your stay more convenient. It would take less than a few dollars to leave one extra roll of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, two or three pods for the dishwasher, and a few extra trash bags. They leave nothing, and I mean nothing, although there was a bar of soap and mini shampoo. They are renting these units for a few days at a time and if you are there for more than a day you will need to go to the store and buy all the things mentioned above. I stay in many similar properties all over the country many which are less than half the price, all come with basic supplies and most come with maid service. The units are in need of repair for this stay I rented two units and the walls, carpets, and furnishing are extremely dirty. The toilet in one of the rooms rocked back and forth and in the double sink in the kitchen was frozen on one side of the sink. Mildew!!!

it was OK...

Neighborhood was fantastic. Everything was close by. The condition of the apartment was not in the best condition. They will make you sign an authorization form to charge you for any damages on ythe property. You have to make sure to check... Something a guest should not be doing.

Good but could be better

The location was very convenient. The room is located within a condo building. Therefore, if you check in after hours, the front desk is not helpful and very quick to tell you they don't work for the rentals. I was told I couldn't park in the building so I had to park across the street and drag my luggage with me. The room was a nice sized one bedroom but looked like the furniture came from a bargin basement sale. The burner on the coffee pot was so burnt, I couldn't turn it on without smelling up the whole apartment. Pillows were well used and needed to be replaced and no blanket on the bed -- just sheets.

2nd time staying here

It was ok good this time. I really enjoyed my stay, new management really makes a place better. I just don't like the cleaning policy . The guest shouldn't have to clean a room before they leave and be charged a $100 if they didn't . But otherwise the condo was good.

Falta Mantenimiento y Seguridad

Este apartamento esta ubicado en el Piso 40 y las varandas del balcon esta rotas, tienen unas cintas de "caution" las puertas que dan al balcon no tienen seguro, asi que no esta apto para estar con ninos. La cocina tienen los utensilios viejos y en mal estado. Los colchones estan vencidos. A este apartamento le falta un mantenimiento profundo.

Apartamento Descuidado en condiciones inseguras

Mi estancia en el apartamento fue muy desagradable. La primera impresion que tuve es que el apartamento esta muy descuidado, le falta mantenimiento profundo, los utensilios son viejos y dan muy mala impresion tener que usar una cocina en esas condiciones. El Apartamento esta ubicada en el piso 40 y el balcon tiene una parte donde la varanda esta floja y tiene cintas de "caution". Muy peligroso esta condicion. Las puertas que da acceso al balcon no tienen seguro, asi que no es apto para llevar ni;os. El apartamento es grande tiene tres habitaciones y dos banos y un balcon grande a lo largo. La vista es a la Bahia. Lo mas bonito es la vista al mar.

Filthy

There was damaged carpet and flooring and the room was badly in need of renovation. Appallingly filthy with even a piece of spaghetti stuck to the ceiling. The sheets did not fit the bed. A notice was posted that I would be fined $100.00 if I left any garbage in the trash bin and would be fined $500.00 if I put a glass bottle in the trash drop. Stay on a park bench outside where you will be treated with more courtesy and be less likely to be awakened by cockroaches.

Surprise Huge Apartment

It was amazing. The lady in charge was very nice. pick up paper towels because they didn't provide any. I was pleased with how clean it was and it had a washing machine. Great View in a safe part of Miami. Used the hotel for Ultra Music Festival and it was only a 20 minute walk. Very Pleased

Not happy

Terrible service from people at front desk. I clearly understand it is not a hotel but a condo, but they would not instruct how it works. Lazy people at front desk trying to avoid any work. room dirty, smelly, restrooms dirty. Should have left it to look for something else but policy would not let me cancel.

My stay at the club at Brickell Bay

This is not really a hotel. At first I was told I could not leave my suitcase there until check in time, as I arrived in Miami on an early morning flight. I had to wait until 11 AM to speak to the rental agent, who eventually offered to keep my bag until the late afternoon. There is no in room phone service, but there is a front desk for general questions.The room has a kitchen area but no coffee or dish washing liquid. Prepare to go to the grocery store. If you want your room cleaned, you must request it the day before and there is a charge. Last disappointment was that the pool had no water in it. On the plus side, the TV was great, there was wi fi, the air conditioning was good, and the exercise room was state of the art.

This place is the furthest thing from describing it as a place for executives. I only booked this crappie place because nothing else was avail. Man, thank god I only stayed for 1 night. My room was horrific. Brutally disgusting br. Dirty shower curtain, 20 year old bathtub. No AC. The ac unit was in the room and it felt like the unit was dying from someone that has smoked cigarettes for 90 years. For anyone that wants to lose weight, just stay at this room for 30 days. The appliances are so disgusting, any healthy appetite will convert to hating any type of cuisine. Finally, the one thing I always enjoy at hotels is that I'm usually alone, thus can really catch up to work on nights and mornings. Somehow this crappie hotel ruined that for me with 30 years old furniture. The computer desk wasn't even a computer desk. It was some side table that didn't even let you place you're legs comfortably inside it. Stay away from this place unless you want to save 70 dollars a night or there is nothing left

The view was great! It was very spacious!

Won't stay again

The reservationist was the only saving grace of staying here, but she was gone at the end of the first day and after that there was no service at all. There was black mold in the bathroom, the towels were threadbare, there was no shampoo and no hair dryer, and the front desk staff basically said that I'd have to wait until Monday to speak with the reservationist. I don't recommend it and won't stay there again.
