"We only stayed one night as we were going to Cefalu to meet friends but we would have stayed here longer if we could as the service was excellent and the hotel was in such a great location. We also enjoyed a free upgrade and had a huge suite with a wrap around balcony. The breakfast was so delicious and such a wide variety of food available, something for everyone!"

"Thanks guys, give me back my 40€. ❌‼️I strongly do not recommend Hotel Plaza Opéra to use the services of this hotel. ‼️This hotel absolutely does not correspond to 4 stars. That's a maximum of 3 stars! Superior Double Room ‼️The only plus is a clean bed. I spent three nights in this hotel, the room is very, very modest, the bed is creaking, the windows are always closed because the neighbouring houses are very close. There was a coffee maker in the room, but only one cup. Breakfast is very bad. There wasn't even water. Upon arrival, the receptionist warned that if we need an early breakfast, they should be warned in advance. Exactly a day before departure, I asked to organise breakfast at 06.30. In the morning when we came to the "restaurant" there was nothing and nothing!!! I paid 40€ for this breakfast and got nothing!! I strongly advise you not to come to this hotel."

"I am not sure who photo-shopped the photos for this property. This hotel needs to state that it is a budget hotel. The description should make it clear that you do not have a bathroom in your room. The bathroom is located across the hallway of our room and makes that difficult to use. The bathroom is private and is yours that you have a key for to use. It was also very difficult to get in contact with anyone to get us onto the property. This property felt more like staying in a hostil and not the type of hotel I would chose to stay. The property was clean and the staff were pleasant."

"Unfortunately our room was a big disappointment, given the photos looked quite nice. It was located on the 1st floor, very small and dated, with minimal natural light due to the wall immediately outside the window. The bathroom was unclean and dated. The bed looked like it was from the Convent round the corner. Overall a depressing space, so we decided to immediately check out and change hotels. There maybe nicer rooms available on higher floors but I wouldn't recommend from our experience."
