"We had a really comfortable stay at Le Kouloury. Our hosts were very friendly and instantly made us feel at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a delicious breakfast was provided. The house was very convenient for visiting Rocamadour and its beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back again!"

"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"

"Enorme gastvrije en vriendelijke eigenaren. Een echt franse tussenstop onderweg. Het was er alleen erg warm en moeilijk koelte vinden. Er zijn wel ventilators, maar geen airco. Bedden zijn ook aan een update toe. "

"Logement, cadre et piscine super Maitresse de maison très désagréable, hostile, peu avenante. Par contre, tout le contraire de son mari. Aucun frigo accessible pour une boisson, un fruit ou y déposer des achats dans une région où canard, saucissons, vins,..... font la renommée de la région. Très désagréable sous 35°"

"We were warmly welcomed at this property. We could tell the owners take special care in small details to provide a delightful experience for their guests. They went out of their way to help us find a place to eat dinner since we visited during the end of the season and most restaurants were closed. The breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed the company of the dogs and the local cat. Our room was beautiful, the decor top notch. You will be delighted to stay here."

"Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par Annabelle et Isabelle. Le cadre à l écart d un bourg permet une grande tranquillité. Le cadre est multiculturel avec des clients venant de plusieurs pays d Europe. Hollande, Allemagne notamment. Le séjour à été très agreable et les hôtes ont été de grands conseils et toujours disponibles. Seul bémol, l aspect visuel des chambres est un peu rustique avec des équipements un peu ancien. Un service impeccable, un petit déjeuné et table d'hôte digne d'un 4 étoiles, tout est fait maison et avec des produits locaux et en plus différent chaque jour. "Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
