We had a great stay at Roso Guest House. The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring Roma Norte. First-Level in Every Respect

Even accounting for potential overstatement, I can confidently say that this is one of the best hotel experiences I have had in recent memory. The accommodations are excellent, but the staff and service are even better. Truly first class in every respect. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is in lovely old mansion beautifully restored. On a quiet street but within a couple blocks of several outstanding restaurants. Staff is one of a kind and felt like family by the end of our stay. Spotless and safe.

This is was an odd hotel. The photos look charming and lovely but it didn’t feel that way when I arrived. Room was nice and clean but my room only had a window to the courtyard and my every move could be watched unless my curtains were drawn. Breakfast on the roof was basic. I could not wait to check out of the hotel.

Very well located small hotel, eclectic furnishing

Great small and well located hotel. However no desk in the room which we needed. Breakfast and service was terrific, albeit we had to eat outside in winter. A blanket would have been nice. House cleaning touched our belongings, which as extremely regular travellers, we have never experienced in 30 years. We asked them not to and they fulfilled our wishes.

The overall property was great. The staff was kind and very helpful. The rooms was a little but worn. The bed was too stiff. Pillows were too soft. The AC unit’s light above the bed was too bright.

The hotel is new, and the rooms and facilities are in good condition. Breakfast is of good quality, and the breakfast staff were very attentive. However, overall interactions with the rest of the hotel staff were quite neutral, much like the experience as a whole. We stayed in a room on the second floor of the main building, directly above the reception and entrance area. The doors have absolutely no sound insulation, so any noise from below can be easily heard in the room. Guests are required to sign a form outlining the hotel’s rules, which include a quiet period from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. To our surprise, the music in the lobby speakers started playing every day at 7 a.m. I mean… what? I found that extremely disrespectful, as we were woken up by the music every morning. At check-in, we chose the late check-out option, which was confirmed by the hotel manager. Still, on Sunday afternoon we were confronted with the accusation that we had exceeded the check-out time. Our room was also not cleaned on that same day, when we were supposed to have the late check-out. In short, it’s a hotel with decent infrastructure but terrible sound insulation. It was definitely not worth the price. If you’re looking for a more comfortable and peaceful stay, you should look elsewhere.

Beautiful property! Very quiet property and a doorman always there to see you in and out of building. In house breakfast (maybe dinner too?) not lively & limited options. Not a bad thing, just depends on what you’re looking for. Felt very safe entire time. You don’t see staff very often but they communicate via WhatsApp and are very helpful and professional. The person who cleaned our room did an excellent job and organized everything very neatly. Great location near trendy restaurants (average 6-10 min walk).

We had a one week stay in January for a week for my 50th birthday and had a fantastic stay at Guest House Roso. The beautiful room, with modern amenities, tasteful design, thoughtful amenities in a warm and welcoming environment was a joy to come back to. However it was the staff that take this place to the next level. They are attentive, kind and make you feel comfortable and cared for. They seem to genuinely want you to have a safe, restful and exceptional experience. Max, Natalya, Sofia and Leo were all wonderful as were the staff at the doors The delightful sisters in the breakfast area on the terrace, whose smile and warmth welcomed you daily were a delight. The breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurts, bread, granolas cereals plus you can order from the menu. Each morning we enjoyed fresh and delicious meals and there was enough variety that we never felt like we were eating the same thing every day. The location in Roma Norte is perfect. We took Ubers easily to the airport, zocalo, San Angel, Condesa and to Xochimilco. The neighborhood is lovely, leafy with tons of restaurants, cafes, bars, and bakeries. Panaderia Rosetta which is a must (we also went to the the restaurant) is fabulous and so are more casual options, taquerias and bistros. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this lovely place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
