A lovely place in a good location

The garden and the rooms are beautiful, decorated with a loving hand, makimg a relaxed and romantic atmoshpere. The breakfast is better then the ordinary breakfast in the area thanks to fresh tomato salads and eggs made with a talent. The owner was very helpful too. Theres not much to see in metta itself but there are a few good resturants (especially tavernetta cinquatotto which worth a visit even if you don't stay in the town). The B&B is a few minutes walk from the sea. Only thing one should know if you plan to come to metta in a car is that the streets are super narrow so you better have a small car and be a good enough driver.

Giorgia and Antonino are amazing hosts. We had a great stay. They helped us with everything we needed and even invited us to a concert. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Breakfast is coked daily by Antonino and is excellent..

Very nice holiday

The location is great. Close to the beach and train station. Nice restaurant close by. Breakfast is very cosy. Every morning different types of bread fresh made for you. Internet is good.

Wonderful and unforgettable experience!

Our stay at Orchid Corner was wonderful: beautiful home delicately decorated, warm and friendly welcome by the owners (Giorgia and Antonino), excellent location, and great time talking to Antonino at breakfast at the house atrium. It was a great and unforgettable experience!

A lovely retreat

It hard to get there, but I think that is just how it is in Meta. Host was very friendly and accommodating. We rented 3 of the rooms for a family of 6 + a baby. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Best place ever!

Tonino is the kindest, moat caring man we've ever met. Our stay with him and his family was, without a doubt, the best visit ever. A genuine Italian man cooking us breakfast every morning, served in his gorgeous garden. If you are looking for luxury and comfortable beds - don't go here. But if you are looking for a memory of a lifetime and meeting supernice people (and cats!) please go. We will be back!

Real Italian experience

Antonio and his daughter are very nice and helpful. We felt like we are staying with one of our relatives in Italy. Location is great , close to everywhere , 10 min away from sorento. By bus, and a very large and nice beach , tico tico,. We had a great time. I recommend it to everyone.

Authentic, a piece of history

we stayed one week mid June 17. A very pleasant simple but individual B&B, rooms are colourful and clean. Nice small court yard for excellent breakfast and/or to relax in. Location grows on you, there is easy access to the station (10 mins walk) and a handful of restaurants. Meta does not have many tourists, nothing like Sorento, it seems more Italian Beeches (volcanic sand) are circa 5 mins walk but you need to pay. Orchid Corner was a great spot, in the historic old town part of Meta, more than happy to return

Nice getaway, peaceful and "local". No holiday inn

Don't expect the Holiday Inn. This is a B&B so nobody is going to be waiting on you hand and foot. Antonino the proprietor is very accommodating and personal and makes a great break in an egg breakfast with the most powerful garlic slivers I have ever tasted. If you want the feeling Of being in Italy and not in an American city, this is the place to go

Kleines B&B mit viel Charme

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und groß. Man wohnt in einem stilvollem Ambiente. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße gelegen, abgesehen von der Kirchturmuhr, die viertelstündlich die Zeit angibt. Das Frühstück wird auf einer Dachterrasse, umgeben von mediterranen Pflanzen, eingenommen. Hier spürt man italienische Lebenskultur. Hier ist man willkommen. Von außen sieht man nicht welcher Schatz sich hinter den alten Mauern aus dem 17. Jahrhundert verbirgt.

Autentisk og sjarmerende

Vi hadde et flott opphold og kommer tilbake !. Siden stedet var så lite (5 rom) kom vi godt i snakk med de som bodde der ( svenske, franske og amerikanske par) . Koste oss med deilig hjemmelaget frokost sammen. Det er enkel standard, så vidt jeg husker ingn Tv. Rommet ble heller ikke særlig rengjort mens vi var der. Vi må holde orden selv som hjemme. Han som eide hotellet ga god service mht. råd for utflukter.

Perfect Italy getaway

We loved our stay here! The proprietor is a perfect host. Meta is a charming seaside town with stunning views and sunsets over the water. You can walk everywhere and get to Sorrento or Pompeii by train. Amazing.

Great location

Nice place to stay if you want to be on the coast but want to stay out of the big city. Perfect location to a nice public beach and a delicious family restaurant; both are a 5 min walk away

Bon rapport qualité - prix, tout proche de Sorrento et autre curiosités de la côte amalfitaine, mais en même temps un peu éloigné du brouhaha continu. Propre et accueillant.

Andare a vacanza e trovarsi come a casa propria: la camera enorme e confortevole, corte fantastica, ma soprattuto il fantastico Antonio che ti fa sentire a casa con la sua simpatia, sempre cordiale e disponibile. Splendido soggiorno in una zona da sogno

Siamo stati benissimo. Pur essendo nel centro del piccolo paese la zona è molto silensiosa, camere nuove belle spaziose e pulite, bel patio esterno dove è un piacere fare colazione e rilassarsi... Il signor Tonino è un ottimo padrone di casa che vi saprà consigliare al meglio per un uno splendido soggiorno nella costiera sorrentina e amalfitana.

Excellent séjour, lieu fantastique hôte formidable

Séjour parfait. Antonino nous a accueilli très chaleureusement dès notre arrivée et a su nous conseiller tout au long du séjour.Discret mais toujours présent, prêt a partager sa culture. Petit déjeuner italien cuisiné tous les matins. L’aménagement du B&B avec les chambre entourant le patio est parfaite, offrant un îlot de calme pour profiter sereinement de son séjour. Excellent souvenir de cette dernière soirée à partager Grappa,limoncello et Mirta autour de pâtisseries de Capri et en discutant comme de vieux amis ! J'y retournerais avec grand plaisir !

Nice place,friendly hosts,good location.

Lovely quiet place,great friendly hosts who would glad to help you.Antonio cooks realy good breakfasts and also gives lots of advices about traveling around the coasts.5 minutes walking to the beach, 4 to the supermarket and aprox. 10 minutes to train station where you can easyly take trane to Sorrento or Naples. Busses from the beach can carry you on evry Amalfi coast city. Meta is really quite place,but on weekends there are lots on noisy people on the beach fron Naples,i gues its because Meta's beach is one of the cleanest around there.You can enjoy beach time on expencive privat beaches,but you also able to relax on free area(anyway you can put your stuff on free beach and swim on privat).

Восхитительное место

Чудесное местечко Мета, маленький старый городок с 9-ю церквями. Дом 1730 года, внутренний дворик-сад, где хорошо проводить время в жару. Невероятно добрый и гостеприимный хозяин. Большие жизнерадостные желтые комнаты. Из прозы жизни: до пляжа и моря рукой подать. Во дворике есть кухня, где можно готовить и большой стол. Хозяин по утрам подает горячий завтрак. Супермаркет, буквально, за углом. Есть рядом пара кафе. До электрички можно дойти минут за 10-15, а оттуда до Сорренто 7 минут. Впрочем, в Сорренто можно доехать на рейсовом автобусе, который останавливается около пляжа. Мне понравилось очень. Рекомендую.

A Real Hidden Gem

A wonderful b and b. Engaging, attentive host. Serene garden to relax in and have breakfast. Nothing was too much of an effort for our host Antonio. Great breakfasts.
