Welcome to the Origin Apartment located in our home that we like to call the Chateau. We are located in a country setting with breathtaking scenery. Parfreys Glenn, Devil's Lake, Wisconsin Dells and many other top attractions are located close by. Devil's Lake Ski Resort is located just across the street from us. Oasis is a brand new apartment that is located below us. The apartment has two levels, a full kitchen, and a deck right outside your door to take in the beautiful views. There is a fire pit to cozy up to on cold nights or enjoy smores with friends and family. Bathroom and Sleeper Sofa located on the main level for those that need to avoid stairs. This apartment can comfortably sleep six people. If you have a larger group please inquire about our other apartment options close by.

Robin and Adam are wonderful hosts and their guest apartment was comfortable, spacious, very clean and in the perfect location for our family reunion at Devil's Lake. We highly recommend their accommodations and look forward to another visit.

Clean and great location

Property was very clean and well maintained, it was central to Madison, Devils lake and the Dells. Had a good hiking trail less then a mile from the driveway. Great place to stay

Family ski trip

Adorable townhome, perfect for a family of four. Very nicely appointed with all your needs for a vacation. Location is literally right across from Devil’s Head and close to all the park trails. We enjoyed our stay and time in the cute town of Baraboo. Check out The Relish Tray- delicious!

Fun place to stay

Stayed with daughter and grandkids for one night. Boys loved the yard, and pig, and turkeys. It was very clean, beds were comfy, and kitchen was stocked well. Also thank you for letting us check-in a little early!

This placed worked perfectly for a 1-day ski trip. So close to Devil's Head. We were able to ski all day, and then enjoy some dinner, tv and games. Very clean, and cozy. Note there only a small refrigerator and small oven, which did not work for our Aldi's take-n-bake pizzas. Would stay again.

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I had a relaxing stay. Located in a beautiful area, the apartment attached to the hosts' residence was comfortable and the perfect size for two people. The hosts, Robin and Adam, were friendly and helpful. We got to meet BB the pot belly pig, the chicken and ducks, and the frogs!

Wonderful Stay

We had a fantastic stay here! The owners were very friendly, but they respected our privacy. The proximity to Devil's Lake State Park and Parfrey's Glen was perfect. The kids loved seeing the pig, the chickens, and turkeys. They also loved the swing. It had everything we needed, and it was a nice, quiet escape. Thanks for everything!

Cozy and Comfortable!

My Fiances friends and I stayed here for two nights. Very cozy with two floors. Two rooms downstairs can sleep 4 adults total. Couch upstairs can sleep two smaller adults and the bottom pulls out which would be comfortable for kids. We loved it and felt very at home.

Cozy and quaint near the best that nature has to offer

My husband and I booked this property for a hiking trip we planned to Devil’s Lake State Park. The property is near Merrimac but conveniently close to the park and Baraboo. (If you are skiers, the property is directly across from Devil’s Head Ski.) The apartment was cozy, quaint and quiet, with all the conveniences we needed. Robin and her family were perfect hosts; the menagerie of birds was a bonus. I would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay

I can’t give this place a high enough review!! The owners were super friendly and helped us out whenever we needed it. BB the pig, plus other farm animals were there to greet us, which was super cute. Plenty of good parking, tons of outdoor space, and two fire pits! They even had bug spray set out for us. Robin and Adam really focus on the details of making sure you have a relaxing and convenient stay. Very close to Devil’s Lake, we were able to go there each day and stop back at the rental quick when we needed to. Again, can’t reccomend enough!!

Relaxing restorative mini vacation

My friend and I met here for a mini vacation to catch up. It was wonderful. Very relaxing setting. And wonderful welcoming family. We were able to just kick back and slow down and enjoy the surroundings. There is so much to do in the area, so we were not at a loss for things to do. From hiking, to doing a wine tour. We had everything we needed, and the place was very clean. Exactly what we were looking for and more. We will be back.

Devil's Lake Outing

The apartment was very clean and nice. The kitchen was equipped with most of the items you would typically need. The two main bedrooms were located downstairs and were nice and works well for us. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and helpful with events, dining, and attractions in the area. They are within walking distance of one of the popular hiking trails in the area, the Parfrey Glenn waterfall trail. Parking was adequate even with a large truck and boat trailer. I would recommend this to my friends.

Nice weekend stay

My brother and I were in town for a wedding. This condo met our needs since we were mainly there to shower and sleep, eating all meals out, except for morning coffee. The place was spotless and Robin was a gracious hostess. The place was small and 4 people might feel crowded. The kitchen is not meant for any major cooking. My only suggestion is better pillows. Those provided were very uncomfortable. If you're picky about your pillow, bring your own!

this place is AWESOME!

We booked here for 2 nights for our son’s wedding. When we booked, we had no idea that it was so close to the wedding venue (just around the corner) so right away, that was a HUGE plus! This place is just peaceful and charming! Clean and comfortable, very nicely furnished. Outdoor areas were just beautiful, with plenty of comfortable seating, shade trees, a wide variety of birds (including humming birds…yes we are bird nerds) a fire pit, and a fish pond that all overlook a beautiful woods. And the ducks, chickens, turkey and pig were all such fun (especially for our 7 year old grandson!) As we were talking to the owner (she is so nice!), she told us that they are all rescues… made it all so much more special! We HIGHLY recommend staying here for anyone coming into this beautiful area for skiing (and you can see the ski hills from the property), golf, or a visit to Devil’s Head Park (or for a wedding at The Old School…which is a great wedding venue) I gotta say, this was the most special VRBO place we have ever stayed at!
