Ellie was wonderful. The apartment was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The walk to the beach could be a challenge as it is uphill on the way back. It was fine for us. We would definitely book it again.

Very nice apartment and well taken care of. Pride in ownership. Amazing sunset view from our balcony. Plenty of room for 2 people. The balcony is amazing. Not many restaurant choices but we did manage. Ellie was helpful with a couple suggestions. Mero Beach js very nice black sand and the water is very clear and fairly warm. Highly recommend.

Elie was simply excellent! Good communication from the start to the end. Always reachable & ready to help. Very clean with A/C & the view is just ace! All in all a great accommodation well located between the two capitals & Mero beach walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Our two bedroom apartment (Moonlight) was perfect for our family of three. The kitchen gave us the option of eating in and the little restaurant "Indee's" on the beach gave us reasons not to. Our host Ellie was friendly and informative and even let us use her laundry mid-week. We didn't visit the little grocery nearby but shopped at the supermarkets in Roseau. Our favorite thing was morning on the porch overlooking the ocean. Dominica is the way Hawai'i was 40 or 50 years ago and staying outside the resorts is the best way to appreciate it!

Ellie is an amazing host! The property and apartment are clean and well maintained. The internet is good. The view is to die for! Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation. There is a great local restaurant on the beach below called Indee’s. Check it out too.

Upon arrival Ellie was very friendly and helpful. I went there to quarantine for my trip to Dominica. My 1 week stay was very pleasant. The area is quiet, property is clean, bright and homey. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a home away from home in a quiet, serene area. Nice having to look at the beautiful Caribbean sea every morning. Thanks Ellie for making my stay comfortable.

Perfect to relax

Great view of the beach very relaxing. The apt is spacious and very clean. Easy access to the highway. Shops and restaurants 5 minutes away an easy walk to the village.

Best Ever.

I have been using Hotels.com for over 10 years, leaving many reviews. This place is the best ever. Ellie has a wonderful ability to create a beautiful apartment. The view from the terrace is fantastic, watching the sunset with a cold beer heavenly. The garden could be from a movie. Everything perfect. Dominica is a bit different, you will need a 4x4 for transport. It is still recovering from hurricane Maria, forget about sign posts, satnav a necessity.

Stunning views and great hostess

We stayed for three nights. We hade a two bedroom apartment with a beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. Impeccably cleaned, large open spaces and very comfortable beds. Well functioning wifi (by Dominican standards). Tiled bathroom. In the village (Mero) you'll find both mini markets and restaurants.

Great first time at Dominica 🇩🇲

This family run apartment was well located close to the local Mero beach where there were a few local eateries and a shop for provisions. The owner, Ellie & her family helped to organise transfers and island tours for us, from our new friend Augustin. Everyone was very welcoming and willing to help us enjoy our stay, just a year after the devastating typhoon hit. You can see, all around, that the island is recovering but with such natural beauty, and the determination of the locals we hope and trust Dominica will recover well. Looking forward to going back!! :)

A great place to stay in Dominica

4 of us stayed here for 5 days while in Dominica. We stayed in the Seabreeze room which is a 2 bedroom apartment. The manager Ellie was very accommodating and provided us with everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. You won't get the big hotel feel in Dominica, which is part of its appeal. We had breakfast on the balcony every morning that looked out over the ocean. The beach is about a 5 min walk from the hotel. It's all downhill going, which means an uphill climb on the way back. The room featured 2 bedrooms with a king size bed in each, a pull out sofa, and a full kitchen. There are air conditioners in both bedrooms which cool the entire house if you leave the doors open. It is about a 1.5-2 hour drive from the airport but everything in Dominica is far and you will need to drive to most places. You can rent a car while there or use taxis. If you do rent a car just beware of the roads because some of them are still being repaired form the hurricane in 2015.

Nice clean place in a beautiful setting

This is a really nice, clean place to stay. It is on a hill and somewhat secluded, so feels very private. We had a rental car and explored other areas on the island, so did not actually go to the nearby beach.
