"DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. Nothing matches the listing—dirty, trashy yard, broken oven, no advertised BBQ, two broken TVs, broken door locks, dilapidated/unsafe deck, broken deck chairs, rusted utensils, moldy sponges, corroded fixtures, soiled bedsheets and towels, no bright pillows or rugs as shown in the photos, no screens in the windows - they were laying outside on the ground, and a strong odor of cat urine. We found the cat trying to get in the house. I have lots of photos to back up everything I have stated.. It was so shocking the state the house was in. We complained immediately after we picked our jaws up off the floor. The caretaker was confrontational, and the owner promised a refund if we didn't leave a bad review and then ghosted us. Photos are doctored, the house is poorly maintained, and it was a completely disappointing experience. This is our fifth trip to the Bahamas and we have never encountered anything even remotely like this place. VRBO should take the listing down until it is safe to rent and accurate photos are taken"

"This home is nothing shy of AMAZING! We enjoyed our stay so much. We highly recommend doing more than one week as there is so much on the island to explore, and this house is so perfect that you’ll enjoy every moment spent at it. You get to see sunrise and sunset all from the same deck, snorkel coral reefs right in front of the house, swim/sunbathe in the nice warm pool, kayak with the provided kayaks. On top of this the caretaker is wonderful at answering any questions or concerns during your stay, and he even took us to his garden, stopped in with food he cooked, and shared all his island knowledge with us. Trust me when I say you will not want to leave! "

"The house is fantastic! There is a Nespresso and a drip coffeemaker. There were a few spices and plenty of pans and oven cookware. It is wonderful to be a short walk from the Fernandez Bay resort for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The the washing machine and dryer were handy to have onsite. You can pack light! And ... the house has an RO system for drinking water which is great. We all fell in love with the house. "

"We had the most amazing stay! The house was superbly located on an elevation that allowed for 360 views from the wrap around veranda. Well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. The beach is a short walk with access to explore the many reefs by snorkeling. The host was welcoming and responsive. Loved it!"

"Stephanie is a gem. She always provides an incredible environment for me to come visit. Peaceful and relaxing here. The house is a darling cottage and has everything I need. The beds are so comfortable, nice bedding and pillows! The water is beautiful and calming. Sitting on the deck anytime of day is a joy, nice shade even when’s it’s hot. The pool and the cover over it are perfect way to spend an afternoon after my long walk on a beach that I have all to myself! The water is the most beautiful color, the sunrises and sunsets are the most spectacular that you will ever see. Lots of time to be in peace, calm and solitude. 100 stars!"

"The property is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However, the listing was a bit misleading—only one bedroom and the bunkhouse were accessible, not the three bedrooms and baths advertised. There was no access to a washer/dryer, and the upstairs shower had very low water pressure. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom also lacked window coverings, which made privacy an issue. That said, the host was responsive and assured us these concerns would be addressed with the property manager."
