The staff were friendly and helpful but the service sometimes took far too long given the amount of people ordering - had to wait nearly 45 mins for a latte, but it was very hot so maybe the staff had to move slowly! The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard so top marks to housekeeping! The Spa was great.

One word would do it... 'WOW'. Top 3 of the perfect places I've visited. Tranquil, elegant and the most marvelous staff available. The safari guides are knowledgeable, fun and work together to allow all guest to experience viewing the game animals once discovered on the range. Totally recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff- a daily game drive where we saw so much (lion, rhino, leopard, elephant, hippo, crocodile, giraffe, zebra, kudu, buck...). The only negative was beng charged for two extra tea bags and extra milk - to have tea in our room. Was not the cost just the principal.

The spa facilities were simple but the treatments were top class really relaxing and well priced. Beds were really comfortable the shower was large with a view of the pilansburg park. Rooms were luxurious and spacious. In room facilities were great with daily refresh of water, coffees, teas and biscuits etc... The included game drives were always entertaining and enjoyable Highly recommend my stay, it was a great getaway from city life. If 1 recommendation I can make would be to include more high protein vegetarian meals for the included dinner.

We cried when we left (in a good way). The game drives provided as part of the stay were out of this world. So amazing. The perfect way to celebrate my daughter’s 21st. The management were super helpful and bent over backwards for my two kids who both have special needs. Would definitely go again but I don’t think my bank balance would cope! Once in a lifetime trip. October was the perfect month to visit. Rangers highly knowledgeable and you get allocated the same one each game drive so you can build a relationship with them. You won’t regret it if you book with Shepherds Tree x
