Cozy little cabin nestled in the woods
Our stay was phenomenal. We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than check in so my husband checked the hot tub and it wasn’t warming so I contacted the owner and he was there within 30 minutes checking it out, only to tell us they drain and clean it after every guest and it might get an air pocket, simple fix and it was working. You don’t get that kind of response in corporate America!!! The cabin was clean & cozy, we tried a lot of the places Nathan recommended for dining and checked out the falls around the area. All in all it was an amazing stay!

Amazing!
Great little spot for privacy and enjoy quiet and one on one with spouse. It was the best everything is so cozy and very stocked with kitchen items needed close to all things. Only thing ma7be add hooks near the hot tub to hang towels on but other than that wonderful!

A little slice of heaven
Fantastic cabin set in the mountains. Snuck away for a short trip with my wife and we had an amazing time. The decor was perfect, the appliances looked barely used, the hot tub made for a welcome time after hiking all day. Nathan was super helpful and had great communication with us throughout the whole stay. Cant speak highly enough about this home and the welcome time off we were able to spend here. Thank you!

Perfect size
The cabin was a beautiful “tiny house” that was very comfortable and cozy for our winter getaway. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed the compactness of the home. The hot tub was fantastic and clean, and we loved that it was housed in its own little house! Definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful time at this cabin! Nathan is an incredible host. The cabin had everything you could ever need and more. The decorations inside were beautiful too! Mentone, AL was just a fun little town to explore and Wildflower Cafe offered some incredibly delicious food. This trip was a dream! I highly suggest renting this cabin.

best little getaway
The cabin was so cute and perfect for a little weekend away from the hustle and bustle. They had every little detail taken care of- robes for the hottub, great fans in the bedroom, fully stocked kitchen, the radio in the living room. My husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and played cards all night. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay
Loblolly cabin has everything you need to unwind and enjoy beautiful surroundings. The cabin is very well maintained and comfortably equipped. The sauna is in a beautiful gazebo, both private and super relaxing. Perfect after a day of hiking and sightseeing. We will definitely be back.

Great little cabin. Everything from the setting to decor. Absolutely perfect! Get up early and watch the wildlife, the raccoon and the deer are like clockwork. Great appliances, great water pressure. Great communication with host on any subject. And by all means check out Elevation Bistro and Mad Hatter.

There aren’t even words to describe our stay. It was incredible! The host was super helpful, the cabin is absolutely beautiful and super clean— it made for a perfect relaxing weekend away. We did not want our vacation to end but we will certainly be back!

20th Anniversary getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we pulled into the drive, we fell in love with the tranquil setting. The cabin itself was perfectly cozy, clean, and furnished with every modern amenity you’d need away from home. It was the best spot for us to sneak away and unwind. We loved their attention to details. We enjoyed the hot tub and it’s beautiful setting, tucked in the woods while the fire flies twinkled all around us right after sunset. I highly recommend staying here. The owners shared such helpful advise on where we could go & what there was to see! We hope to be back soon, perhaps in the Autumn to see the beautiful colors.

The cabin was built beautifully and has the perfect blend of traditional and comfortable. Lots of wildlife to view like bears, deer, turkeys and birds. My wife and I loved spending our anniversary here. The nearby restaurants and nature were great for getting outside.

It’s a truly beautiful cabin in the perfect location for DeSoto, Mentone, Fort Payne activities. There are neighbors but they aren’t too close. Very quiet place with a rustic vibe. We were greeted by wild turkeys in the backyard. Owners were quick to respond. Hope to come back.

The cabin is cozy and welcoming. It is surrounded by beauty and is just a few minutes from anything you want to see in the area. I enjoyed sitting on the porch reading and listening to the critters at night. The owners are wonderful and everyone I met in and around Mentone was friendly and welcoming as well. I will be back!!!

We loved everything about this cabin. The decor is fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped. The appliances were newer and easy to use. The hot tub was great. Area feels secluded, but close to Mentone, Little River Canyon, and Desoto. We did have to use the older County Road number in our navigation devices. We enjoyed pizza from the Mentone Market, and breakfast from a sweet little cafe called “The Mad Hatter.”

My wife and I spent the weekend for her birthday. It was fantastic. We saw a 6 point buck when we pulled up. The internet speed was great for the fire stick we brough and we were able to rest and watch a few movies. The hot tub was nice and hot and had a great view of the sunrise. We cant wait to come back again. If you are looking to get away to a remote private location this is your spot.
