Charming, Relaxing, and did I mention Location?! Originally built in 1940, with the heart-pine walls, floors & ceilings still intact. Quaint "wavy board"/live edge timber exterior from local sawmill. 2BR/1BA. Fully furnished including those inviting rockers on the perfect front porch (with cedar railings by local artisan Jeff Rymer). 2-car carport. Property plumbing and wiring updated during a remodel in 2004. Great yard including what is perhaps the prettiest native holly tree in Mentone!

What makes this place so great is how easy it is to walk next door to the market if I need anything. I also love that I can walk to and from dinner if I choose.

There are multiple options for coffee in the mornings. There is a coffee maker for traditional coffee grounds (medium or coarse) and also a Keurig option for K-Cups. Coffee grounds and K-Cups are not always provided so we recommend bringing your own.

The carport is equipped with a Tesla High Power Wall Connector for Tesla Electric Vehicles.

The cutest cabin

I stayed in this cabin for a couple days and it felt so cozy. It was very clean and was stocked with anything we would need away from home. It’s located right next to Mentone Market who has the best pizza ever and amazing service. The cabin was in the perfect spot close to so many different things in Mentone. I will definitely be staying here again!

Conveniently located ito sites around Mentone. The Host, Weasley accommodated additional days allowing my wife to join. The home is very clean. Its rustic nature fits in with the mountain surroundings.

Beautiful Cabin is a Work of Art

The location of this cabin worked out perfectly for us as we were able to walk next door to the market and across the street to our favorite shops and restaurants. Communication was easy and the cabin was clean and absolutely gorgeous. Great use of technology for convenience in a place where you generally lack cellular service. 10/10 would book again!

Sibling retreat

It was very restful. Would be extremely helpful to have TV instructions. When turned on and a program was selected, the TV went black. Front porch needs sweeping and spider webs removed. The home was great.

Work & play

I worked the first day/nite/morning. The desk in 2nd bdrm was excellent spot for this. The afternoon, next nite & morning we explored Desoto, hiked to the Falls and explored Mentone. We ate lunch at the Wildflower Cafe (very good!) We never could get the thermostat to turn on where it could be adjusted. We ended up using the gas logs & that helped knock the bit of chill off. The bed was very comfy for us. Thanks!

Fantastic Weekend!

We love Mentone and will plan to return!! For years, we’ve frequented the surrounding area, but never spent time in Mentone. We met the most wonderful business owners and tried to support them by purchasing some of their wares! 😀🎨 We found some yummy restaurants and enjoyed many of the local eats! Our dog, Joey, really enjoyed going with us and not getting left at home. We walked all about town and hiked the State Park! We loved the cabin! It was perfectly centered to walk everywhere in both directions. And we walked over to Brow Park and discovered the amazing sunset views!! Wow! The cabin was cute and quaint and super clean, which I really appreciated. I loved sitting on the front porch in the porch swing. Joey loved sitting in the sun watching the people pass by! The cabin was well stocked with everything you need and more! The bed was super comfortable and cozy, too. We encountered a sudden cold snap during our stay! The owner was very responsive, which we appreciated. We arrived to check in and I couldn't find the code that I know he sent! It was starting to be very cold and I was grateful for the quick response so we didn't have to wait in the cold very long! We'll definately come back again! Mentone was magical.

Absolutely perfect little cabin. Fan in master room didn’t work or light beside the bed. Other than that it was perfect and we will definitely be back! Can’t wait to book another stay at this cabin in mentone.

Well equipped cottage in the heart of Mentone. Mentone Market right next door & walked to Wildflower Cafe for lunch. Sidewalk in front makes it easy to get your steps in! Enjoyed sitting on the porch.
