Great value $60 for a clean quiet room right off the main plaza, next to the National Ballet Theater and $509/night Park Plaza Hotel. Fuente Mayor is an old Argentina Hotel chain that still prices like its 1999.

Staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. I arrived at 8am and was exhausted from an overnight flight. I had booked a room with two beds and upon my arrival, a room with a queen bed was assigned instead. The room assigned was a bit dusty, the toilet seat dirty and during the last two days of our stay no hot water. I also found it unprofessional that there were public displays of affection among the staff. For instance, the front desk person was in the middle of reassiagning a room with two beds instead of one, and the front desk person who just had ended his shift came and kissed the new front desk person good bye, while I was having a conversation with new front desk person. I understand it is a different culture, but I am also from South America and I found this uncomfortable and disrespectful.

Great central location, easy and safe to walk around. Near great restaurants, night life, museums and parks. Rooms and hotel were kept very clean, beds were comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Pool and area kept clean and was very refreshing on a hot day.

The location is great, very walkable to lots of restaurants and is right next to a very nice little park. They also held on to my luggage for me when i arrived early in the morning. Definitely recommend.

Most bang for your buck!

The staff was excellent! Super helpful and very patient with us (we do not speak Spanish very well - thankfully, they do!). And you can't beat the location! Right in the heart of the city center. Everything you could want to see or do is minutes away. And all the best restaurants are close. Highly recommend. I would stay here again!

We found some details in the room, the refrigerator was empty, plug far from the desk and had no extension so I had to move the desk, there was no floor towel, some loose items in the bathroom, indicators of lack of maintenance of some elements. The hotel looks remodeled, new elements, good cleanliness and facilities. Good location and people very friendly and willing to help.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, staff had an excellent customer service, Elizabeth oriented us very nicely. Matias helped us with the AC at the room and took action immediately. We arrived at Christmas Eve and everything closed in the afternoon and on Christmas Day almost everything was closed. Breakfast was good . But I recommend this hotel.
