Massive room, great location

Good little hotel in a great location next to Melnik castle, nice breakfast in an old cellar and our room was absolutely massive. We had better value for money on our cycling trio along the Elbe, but overall a very decent place for an overnight stop.

Melnik ist ein kleiner bescheidener Ort mit nettem Marktplatz. Außerdem kurz vor Prag :-)

Ich erwartete ein normales Hotelzimmer. Doch als ich die Tür öffnete, war da eine große Suite mit großer Dachterasse, schöne Sitzgarnitur, eine sehr große Küche mit einem riesigen runden Fenster und einem schönen Wannenbad. Der Service ist hervorragend und sehr freundlich. Immer gerne wieder!

Schönes Hotel in der sehenswerten Stadt Melnik

Die Altstadt von Melnik ist wirklich sehenswert und fußläufig vom Hotel U Rytíře erreichbar. Sehr schön gestaltet sind vor allem die Tische und Sitzecken vor dem Hotel; bei schönem Wetter kann man hier ideal etwas Essen und Trinken. Die Räumlichkeiten innen sind groß und das Personal äußerst freundlich.

Schönes Hotel in der Altstadt

Im nachhinein war der Aufenthalt sehr gut. Lediglich bei der Ankunft war die Rezeption lange nicht besetzt und das Hotel schien leer. Als dann die Rezeption besetzt war, wurde unsere Buchung nicht gefunden. Sorgte für etwas Verwirrung. Man stellte uns jedoch ein Zimmer zur Verfügung. Erst später entschuldigte man sich, dass die Buchung nun doch vorhanden sei.

Très bon hôtel

Tout est parfait: situation au cœur de la ville; parking réservé et sûr à proximité; appartement très spacieux propre et confortable; très bon petit déjeuner; patron très agréable et personnel féminin de bonne volonté même si leur connaissance de l'anglais est limitée. Seul un jeune homme auquel nous avons eu affaire s'est révélé désinvolte , assez désagréable et en tous cas, ignorant des règles élémentaires de courtoisie indispensables dans un hôtel.

Early April was a little off season in Melnik but it is an interesting town and the U Rytire is a convenient place to stay.We took the ,winter garden, room which comes with a sitting room/kitchen.There is a good restaurant opposite,and the Chateau beside the hotel is a MUST visit.
