Great cabin. Super clean and had everything we needed. Comfy bed and pillows! Loved having the porch when it was raining and fire pit when it wasn’t. Communication was excellent and they were super helpful when we got lost.

Absolutely perfect. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Every detail is well thought out, from kitchen needs, toiletries, phone charging, nightlights, air conditioning, furniture that converts easily for lounging, black out curtains, washer/dryer…they even go above and beyond with a welcome basket and bottled water in the fridge. And this says nothing of the peaceful location tucked in the woods, wonderful porch, and quaint fire pit area with outdoor timed lighting. Thank you for the wonderful stay. We would recommend this place to anybody!

Very impressed with the private, beautifully decorated property! We were surprised with wine and treats for our anniversary! Would love to visit in the winter with all the big windows! So much to see up north and the cabin was a nice quiet place to land after hiking to several waterfalls, a photographer's dream!

What a great place! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend with some hiking and kayaking. The kayaking trip was canceled last minute due to weather, but we took the disappointment in stride, because we had this beautiful hidden gem to come back to. Chris and Laurie couldn't have been more accomodating. Great hosts with an amazing place. It was very easy to leave the noise behind and enjoy time with each other alone in the woods. Copper Falls is right down the road, highly recommend stopping for a relaxing hike.

The cabin is brand new and very modern. The location is beautiful and remote. The bed was very comfortable, and the in-floor heat made the temperature cozy and not drafty in negative degree weather. The host leaves a nice note and basket of treats for the guests. While I tend to bring most of what I need with me, in an emergency I noticed the cabin has many items you could forget. i.e. q-tips, body wash, shampoo, coffee filters, olive oil, spices, etc... I think this belongs to the owners so again, didn't use them, but they're available in a pinch. The driveway is a full U-shaped in-and-out style, great for potential trailers pulling snowmobiles/motorcycles. Just overall, a pleasant place to come home to after a long day of riding. Great stay. Thanks Chris and Laurie!

This simple well designed and newly constructed cabin is the perfect getaway spot for couples or solo travelers who enjoy a quiet, peaceful, and secluded stay in the heart of the Northwoods. It is well decorated both inside and out coinciding with the present vibe of the current season and holiday. The guest gift basket with a welcome card and treats to enjoy during and throughout your stay is very kind and was much appreciated! The floors are professionally seal coated throughout and has soft rugs along with mats in the kitchen and bathroom. The semi plush king size bed with what felt like linen sheets is very comfortable and spacious which delivered a great solid nights rest. The fire pit is a well lit area and good size overall with three Adirondack chairs and a small table. I've been coming up to this part of the state for the past seven years to photograph the amazing waterfalls and scenery throughout the area and was simply grateful to stumble across this place and will definitely be staying again most likely in the Fall. This time of year the mosquitoes and bugs are thick so make sure to bring adequate spray, long sleeves, hat and bug net to protect yourself although they do provide spray as well. The hosts, Chris & Laurie, are very attentive and promptly responsive to messages. Thank you both so much!! I was very pleased with our stay and was very impressed as you will be too!! Enjoy!!

Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. I slept on the very comfortable and unique pull-out couch and my girlfriend slept in the bedroom on the king size bed, which was very comfortable. We enjoyed the evenings watching TV and our last night we had an outdoor camp fire. The cabin was decorated inside and out so nicely with fall colors. We enjoyed our time here and had everything we needed. And we had great communication with the host. I would highly recommend this place.

This property was amazing! The cabin was incredibly clean and had all the amenities you could need. The hosts truly have thought of everything. It was a very comfortable and relaxing. There was good communication and we had no issues with directions or entry into the cabin. We were even greeted with a lovely welcome basket and a binder of nearby attractions to visit.

Had a great weekend staying at the Northwoods Cabin Getaway. Enjoyed hiking to the many waterfalls in the area and always had a clean and quiet cabin to return to. The cabin was the cleanest we have ever rented and well supplied with everything we could possibly need. Chris & Laurie were quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely stay at the cabin again if it is available next time we are in the area.
