Beautiful lake home at a private camp

Our charming new lake cabin is located on our private summer camp property on Lake Galilee, just East of Mellen, WI. Wake up to amazing sunrises over the lake!
You will have access to 60 beautiful acres of camp property for some beautiful hikes on our nature trail, as well as access to canoes, paddleboards, and kayaks to use on our 212 acre, quiet lake. You also have access to our Pickle Ball/Tennis/Basketball Court right next to the cabin! If you stay during the winter, the snowmobile trail is right next to our property with easy access. The property and surrounding area is also great for ice fishing, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and downhill skiing! Hunting is not allowed on the property. Located 10 minutes from Copper Falls State Park, 25 minutes from Whitecap Mountain, and within 30 minutes from Saint Peter's Dome/Morgan Falls, Potato Falls, Upson Falls, and Wren Falls. We're also less than an hour from Bayfield and Hayward.

Weekend getaway

Wonderful Getaway

Great modern bunkhouse on a beautiful lake

We needed a spot to crash while exploring the Mellen area. The property was clean, well stocked, and located on a great property. The fire pit and fire wood were seriously impressive.

Quiet and cozy

We enjoyed the lake and the small coziness of the house. My wife was up bear hunting and we enjoyed coming back to a comfortable lodge at the end of the night.

Short Anniversary Getaway

The cabin was just what we were looking for. Well stocked with the all necessities required. It was clean, modern, with plenty of room, of course there was only two of us. Proximity to Copper Falls State Park was excellent. The property is designed as a camp for kids during the summer, but was completely vacant when we were there. I'm not sure what it is like with the camp open, but great in the spring and fall. Highly recommended!

Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed having the place it ourselves. Lots of nature. Several deer grazing close to the cabin. Cabin was very clean and felt like home. Would highly recommended.

Good location to hike waterfalls

Cabin was very clean & well supplied. Unable to enjoy the property due to mosquitoes but it is nice location on quiet lake. Visited Copper, Potato & Morgan falls

Cozy Retreat with Great Views and Reliable Wi-Fi Near Copper Falls

This home was just as promised! It was light and airy inside, with good heat (it was a chilly weekend). I loved the fireplace, too! It had a really good night sky view and was very close to Copper Falls State Park. The trees around the property and lake had great fall colors as well. As an added plus, the internet service was very good. I paired this with a work trip, and the internet was strong enough for video meetings with no problems. I would happily stay here again.

Family Friendly Vacation

We stayed here with our three kiddos, ages 10, 9 & 6, definitely made lifelong summer memories. Water access was great, even the 6yr old could try kayaking. Kids had so much fun catching fish, even off the dock. We took a couple day trips to Lake Superior & beautiful Copper Falls State Park which is very close. Great location for a north woods get-away. Owners were super responsive and helpful. Cabin was clean, with modern amenities. Would absolutely come back!! Thank you!
