"This was one of the best trips we have ever taken. We stayed at Acro for the end of our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. We stayed in a cave suite and it was clean, comfortable, and had a stunning view. We loved having access to our own private pool every day. The food is great, and the daily breakfast was awesome. Highly recommend the shakshuka and chocolate pancakes, and the daily buffet was also really delicious and fresh. We loved the atmosphere -- there aren't many rooms and it is adults only, so it was very quiet and relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted. It's perfect for a romantic trip. All of the amenities and facilities were really wonderful as well, especially the spa. The true highlight, however, was the staff. From the moment we checked in, the staff was kind, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. They went above and beyond for us and truly made our stay what it was. They remembered our names and room number and were happy to assist with anything. Because of the staff, I cannot recommend Acro enough. We don't normally return to the same hotel or location as we like to try something new when we travel, but because of the staff, we will absolutely return and are already talking about when we should plan our next trip. "

My only observations are that it would be great to have service around the pool and the storage space in the rooms definitely needs to be looked as, most of our clothes had to stay in piles on the floor. "Lovely hotel in Rethymno. The service was good and very helpful. There was plenty of options for food and drink in the all-inclusive package, I'd highly recommend. They had some entertainment on at 9pm pretty much every day but there wasn't much else other than that. We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful for a couple's one week holiday. It's only five minutes to the beach which was nice an easy."

Location is great 30 minute walk to beautiful little town Panormo which has plenty restaurants, bars and a few shops. 30 minute drive into the city of Rethymno. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed base to explore Crete, we stayed for 1 week and felt we could have easily stayed another few days. "
