"Such a wonderful, charming and rustique property. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the views of Etna, spectacular! The delicious breakfast was home made using the fruits and honey produced on the property, and Francesca was so helpful and could always be contacted via whatsapp as staff are only available for a few hours in the morning and evening, so you are free to ventrure around the land, or chill out on the roof terrace as if its your own home. There are approx 7 cats who live at the...
"Staff were great and very helpful, Though we found we got better/faster responses to questions when emailing directly versus using expires messenger. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options.
We also ate an evening meal there and it was delicious. Centrally located for for exploration of the etna region. Room was very clean. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to a friend"
"This hotel was right on the main road next to the beach. Therefore there was some traffic noise at night, but it’s settled down as it got later. Very clean facility. Very nice family running the hotel. They rented beach towels for three euros each which came in handy. Breakfast was nice. We had to bring luggage up a floor as there was no elevator, but Hotel provided assistance. I would stay there again. Small selection of local items to purchase in the lobby and a bar and coffee bar available."
"This hotel is severely outdated, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the standard it advertises. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property has been neglected for years. The furniture is worn out, the mattresses are completely shot, and you can literally feel the springs digging into your back. Getting a decent night's sleep is nearly impossible. The bathroom was unacceptable. The shower barely drained, and because there wasn't even a shower door, water flooded the entire bathroom...
"We were offered a free upgrade and the room was very good although the bathroom did require an upgrade.
Not many facilities within the Hotel it needed a bar, the only bar was a beach bar opposite the hotel which was ok unless it wasn’t booked for private hire or closed due to bad weather (there was a bad storm when we were there).
