The condo is fantastic. Something out of a magazine really. Super comfortable and with great views and all the amenities needed. But check-in was a nightmare. I showed up in my scheduled time and no one was there. I also could never get a live person on Globalstay, only AI texts and voicemail. As there were no other rooms available in Toronto, I was booking a flight to just go back home when my host finally arrived in the lobby, 3.5 hours late. If you book this place, good luck checking in.

The condo itself was nice and a good price. Clean and comfortable and a great location. Unfortunately the check in was very difficult and the communication was poor. The check in required multiple steps and they did not start informing of all the steps and info required until the day of travel. This included a document that needed to be signed but they do not have E-sign capabilities which caused significant inconvenience and costs on the day of travel. Also - on the Expedia listing it stated parking was available on site for $15 and also advertised a sauna and gym. Once we checked in parking was not available so we had to park next door at a much higher price and they informed us that short term guests do not have access to the amenities. These were reasons why we chose this location so this was frustrating. When I contacted Global Stay on this, their response was "The amenities such as the gym and sauna are reserved for long‑term residents (LTR) and are not available for short‑term guests, as stated in the building rules". I have never read every detail of the building rules in advance of booking - so I feel I was misguided by the information (including pictures) on the Expedia page. I seldom write negative reviews, but this situation was a frustrating way to start our weekend away so I felt it is important to be communicated. Once we got over this, the place itself was great otherwise and we had a nice weekend.

Checking in could be a lot smother.
