"The room was a $85 special, that should have been maybe $60. Paint was peeling from the tub and sink. Amateur paint job on the bathroom walls. No comfortable chair to sit in, and no table to speak of. Small room that was good for sleeping and nothing else. Did I mention that it was super noisy outside? For almost the same price you can stay at another Motel 6 just a few miles away."

"The Vagabond Inn is under new management. The motel was clean, sheets soft, and the young man who checked me in was professional. My concerns were twofold. 1. The room smelled sharply of air fresheners. I turned on the a/c and more air fresheners blasted into the room. I slept with the a/c off to keep the overpowering scent at bay. 2. The room was also near the highway and noisy. I understand this cannot be helped, but since I couldn’t turn on the a/c, it was a too warm room, and uncomfortable sleep. I let management know in the morning, and when he couldn’t find my reservation, he just seemed to give up. He did confirm air fresheners were in the units."
