Communication with the host was great although confusing at times as we also received communication from a German property manager in German ahead of our stay. "Sauna advertising misleading, there was only limited sauna availability and it was needed to book unlike normal hotel where you just go to sauna on its opening hours. Having sauna was the only reason to book the locale. There is no staff support in evening, no way to contact a person in case of issues. Check in purely electronic which again is not informed before doing the hotel booking. Advice to avoid the place, there are better services available "

"I was clean and the beds were ok. We stayed there only for one night. If we were to stay there longer as a family it would have been very cramped and not a place we would recommend if you are travelling with smaller children."

"Keurig appartement in het souterrain.Helaas geen wifi. Op de fiets ben je in een kleine 10 min in het centrum van Uberlingen, wat een knus, sfeervol dorp is met een gezellige promenade met veel groen en bloemen. Het heeft een mooi parkje in het centrum. Op verschillende plekken erg mooie gelegenheden om te zwemmen, met grote grasvelden om te zonnen en te eten. Super fijn! Denk wel aan je zwemschoenen ivm de stenen en de schelpen in het water.Vanuit het appartement kun je de fietsroute volgen...

"Wir haben unsere Wohnung über Fewo-Direkt gebucht. Da wurde uns eine sehr schöne Unterkunft vermittelt. Dass es sich dabei um Hotel handelte erfuhren wir dann erst vor Ort. Auch betraten wir erst mal eine leere Lobby, ein sehr gehetzter, Italienischer Hausmann stöhnte im Obergeschoss, anscheinend unser Check-In service. In Gebrochenem Deutsch fragte er uns welches Zimmer wir gebucht haben und wie unser Code lautet. Informationen die die Agentur leider versäumte uns zukommen zu lassen, geschweige...

"The easy proximity to the ferry, and the balcony to enjoy the view of the lake and promenade were such welcomed bonuses. Even when it rained we could sit and enjoy the view with the fresh air coming in, with plenty of space. We stayed in the family room, with lake view. Breakfast could not have been better. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!"

"Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times. Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!) Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment. A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly."

Only wrinkle is that the parking they give you is about 15 minutes away and the map they give you isn't very well marked.
