EAGLES NEST - CABIN W/ HOT TUB

  • This cabin is rustic yet elegant, with a rock interior wall in the kitchen with apron sink, butcher block cabinet tops and stainless appliances. There is a grand rock wood fireplace, stained concrete floors, deep soaking tub in the master bath. The cabin has a bedroom and bath downstairs and bedroom and bath upstairs. Big covered porch on front with a newly added hot tub and patio coming off kitchen dining room.

    Eagles Nest sits in the foothills of the Wichita Mountains which gives it that amazing "cabin feel". The cabin has been a home away from home for so many travelers. Beautiful Cabin

Eagles Nest is a beautiful cabin close to downtown Medicine Park with walking/hiking/climbing trails behind the property. My family had such a relaxing and fun time during our 3 night stay. We'd love to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Birthday Retreat

Stayed at the Eagle's Nest for a milestone birthday retreat with my family. Even though it rained all day on Saturday so we couldn't get out to the mountains, we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is lovely with everything you need. We cooked/grilled all of our meals, played games, and enjoyed a beverage all weekend. Will definitely return.

The Eagles Nest Cabin was cozy, yet not crowded. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the mornings and nice walks in the neighborhood. Our hosts seemed to have thought of every thing a guest might want or need - games and puzzles for inside days, outside games for nice days. It was a great jump off point for exploring the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Eagles Nest was exactly as described. Upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom gave everyone a little space of their own after all day exploring the Wildlife Refuge together. Nice to find a VRBO that would allow our puppy.

We had a wonderful stay and the whole process went well without a hitch. The place is easy to get to. Exterior was well maintained. Interior was clean and the decor made it comfortable and relaxing. Well stocked with necessities also. Cute town with several things to do. Only downfall was…we didn’t stay long enough. Book this place. You won’t regret it.

BCT Grad Stay

We came to Lawton for a BCT Graduation for Ft. Sill. The property is the perfect place to get away from town and have a relaxing visit, but not too far out from dining, the base and shopping. There’s not a thing I could think of that this place has forgotten to provide! It’s located amongst other cabins with a beautiful scenic backdrop of the mountains. The owner/host was extremely helpful and very kind, good people! We surely are appreciative of them!

Wonderful cabin, great location.

The cabin was very clean, beautiful and up to date. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils/dishes. The washer even had hypoallergenic soap pods and dryer had dryer sheets. Bathrooms were even stocked with hypoallergenic soap, shampoo and conditioner. First aid kits available. This was one of the most well thought out cabins I've stayed in. There were some games available, also movies for the kids or movies for the adults. Upstairs is carpeted but downstairs is stained concrete so house shoes or slip on shoes are recommended. There's a built in gate to block the stairs. Very cozy seating outside with hanging lights. We did not try the hot tub but that's available with shock for cleaning. There's not a regular coffee pot but a keurig is available with the coffee, creamers, waters and snacks provided which was very nice. Medicine park is a very short distance. There's not a grocery store in medicine park right now, but there's a dollar general about 7 miles. There was also an excellent place for breakfast called Ann's place about 10 miles out. Overall this cabin was wonderful, kid friendly and in a good central location. Would love to stay again.

The cabin was beautiful and close to town. Loved the hot tub also. May I suggest, put grab bars beside both toilets and 1 in each shower area. Our hosts were so easy to work with thru texts. My sister and I loved every minute.
